Not much introduction needed here, as Revan is one of the best written characters in all of Star Wars! We can all agree KOTOR was a masterpiece and ahead of it's time and it still holds up to this day. This video truly deserves a remaster, and one shall be provided in the future. To me Revan is the tragedy of a man way to ahead of his time. His teachings even before he became a Sith were always of a balance between light and dark. He would do things no other Jedi would like help during the Mandalorian war. He would consider things not thought off during his time as a sith and after the main game he goes on to try and make use of the light and dark force as one. The only issues with all this is he was living in the OLD Republic so every one around him jedi and sith saw his teachings as blasphemy and it caused him much pain for his beliefs perhaps had he been born around the original trilogy time he would of been consider a prodigy but alas it wasn't until many years after his death did others like bane start to take his lessons to heart.

He was inspired by Qui Gon Jinn. Unfortunately in the original canon, he was killed off so quickly. He did exactly what Revan did... he defied the order and did whatever he thought was right for the greater good of society. So although not established, Jinn also followed a grey path, and probably would have experienced the dark side and turned away, like most of the grey have. Revan is an incredible character, but he was incredible in the lore and the KOTOR games. TOR kind of made his story very Vader-ish (which is great on its own), but it's repetitive.

You missed one of Revan's greatest assets. His pure, tactical genius. He was a mastermind at planning and executing strategies during the Mandalorian Wars, and that was why he was made supreme commander of the Republics forces, not because of his physical skills. And during the Jedi Civil War he was very subtle and cunning in his strategies, something which the sheer slaughter of the Mandalorian Wars probably influenced.

I've generally been cool with Disney's new canon except for a few things, the Rebellion's symbol's meaning being changed. In Legend's, Galen Marek's (Starkiller) family crest was where the Rebellion got it, using it to honor Galen and symbolize hope. Now, it's basically just a graffiti phoenix, the symbol for Phoenix Squadron, and evidently the Rebellion adopts it from that. I love Star Wars Rebels but the changing of the symbol and its heritage irritated me.

It would be incredible to have a three part game with Revan. The first showing his training as a Jedi under Zhar, Vrook, Vandar, Dorak and, ultimately, Kreia. The second showing his defiance of the Council and service in the Mandalorian Wars. The final showing his venture into the unknown regions, and his return to Republic space as Darth Revan. In both KOTOR and KOTOR II we hear several times, mostly from Canderous, about Revan's elite skill as a military commander, that he virtually defeated the Mandalorians single-handedly, and it would be awesome to play through that part of his life.

I hate it when people say "Darth Revan" he never wanted to be a sith lord and rule the galaxy. He accepted the dark side teachings during the Mando Wars and he was still following his noble goal of protecting the Republic. When the emperor mind controlled Revan and Malak to submission they broke free after they left and Revan wanted to make his own Empire to only defeat the real Empire and the Emperor or make the Repulic strong enough to defeat him. Untill Malaks greed got in the way. If you followed the conversations with Kreia from Kotor 2 correctly you would know his genius and sacrifice to its fullest. For example how he used the Mass Shadow generator to cripple the Mandalorian and Republic fleets at the same time + all that death and destruction weakened all the Jedi in his army who were not loyal to him and he managed to corrupt them and make them loyal as well as defeating the Mandalorians. If he was truly evil he wouldn't have let the suriving Mandos live , he did it to keep the good in him self as well as taking the mask of Mandalore..

Do a story video about Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus. Seeing as how the SW Legends son of Leia and Han was the blueprint for Kylo Ren, a video about his now non canonical counterpart would be educational. His story is also quite interesting and awesome and his story was a true tragedy. The only part of Revan's story that sucked was his arc in TOR. It would have been better had instead of using the book Revan to bring the confrontation with Vitiate to life, we should have had KOTOR 3 which took place with us back in control of our favorite Gray Jedi and had us take out Vitiate for ourselves or have Vitiate invade the Republic, while Meetra Surik freed Revan and he would return to lead the defense of the Republic and THEN confront Vitiate with his wife at his side and she would sacrifice herself to allow Revan to kill Vitiate.

Shade Kerensky pretty cool except vitiate is immortal so even if his body dies his spirit is still alive. However i think the end of your version of kotor 3 should be the half way point with vitiates body being killed and then the secons half of the game could have them finally killing his spirit

You could easily make 5 seasons or 3 films out of just Revan. He is easily the coolest character of all time. The ONLY person to go from a Jedi, to full on Sith Lord, then Jedi Master. Not a single other person in any Star Wars history has that much willpower.

Hot damn Revan is so badass! Easily my favorite character in the EU (with Galen Marek aka Starkiller at his heels). Revan is incredibly in-depth and full of personality as both a sith and a jedi. As the video said, he's extraordinarily powerful, but what draws me to that point is the fact that it left 2 incredibly powerful armies of opposing sides no choice but to join forces JUST to stop Revan and his bag of misfits
