It turned out beautifully, I agree I think a red color would have been a better color for the blood area in her hair.

Yes, definitely. From a distance, it actually looks okay, but closer up, the colour doesn't look like blood and is perhaps too orange. 🧐

Another beautiful finish, Kim. I agree with you about DAC's drill field. Not being tight enough really caused gapping for me with rounds and no clicking with squares.😕 But hugs to you for continuing to provide great information the way you always do. You left out nothing important! And I can enjoy hearing more of your voice during your lengthier presentations like Wip & Chats and book reviews.😘

I really must film a WIP and Chat soon! I haven't filmed one of those in the longest time. Hugs to you Syl. ❤️

Great finish! I agree with you about the colours. Perhaps that's part of the reason DAC decided to make their own drills, so they can match the true colours more closely. I appreciate that you put a photo of the whole image up, too. It frustrates me a little when some people turn the painting sideways, as that really doesn't help when you're someone (like little old me 🤭) who watches on their phone. Hope you are keeping well 🥰

Thanks for that feedback. It definitely helps me to decide on what is best in my videos. Yeah, I'm also not the biggest fan of people turning the canvass sideways. I'd rather put a photo of the full image on the screen so people can get a good feel for it. ❤️

Gorgeous finish. We have very different tastes in art but I still love seeing what you worked on. I enjoy this short post reviews. Not that I’m against longer videos but I agree we know what to expect from Diamond art club. Have a weekend.

Thanks so much for that feedback. I definitely think that shorter review videos are the way to go. ❤️

She came out great. When it's a painting like this the shorter review is fine but if it's from a different shop I would like a longe review. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for that feedback Denise. And I tend to agree with you. When it's a store that isn't that well known, or if the store is new to me, then I'll do a more detailed review, talking about all the aspects that I normally talk about, like the kitting up process, the canvass etc etc. But when it's DAC, Dreamer Designs or Ever Moment, I'll just skim over those aspects. ❤️

Thanks Kim. I enjoyed your video as always. One thing you could add to your reviews would be your accessories... you know me, I love pens, trays and storage too! Have a wonderful weekend. Cheers

Hey Nance. I'll try and remember to add that in, but it will only be my pen. I use the standard large white trays that one can buy from Amazon, and my storage is pretty much always the Elizabeth Ward containers. So, the only interesting thing to see will be my pen. 🖋️😋

Love this - yes, please shorter and to the point - love it. Thanks again Kim.

Hey friend. Yes, definitely, that is what I'm going to be doing going forward. I also prefer a more focused review, where I focus more on the actual reveal and just make a few comments about my experience. ❤️

That came out beautifully ❤️🐸always love the comment that you don’t display your diamond paintings. I do a lot of other needle crafts too and I don’t have to display them. That drives some people crazy.

With the amount of diamond paintings that I finish in a year, I would need a crazy big house to display them all. 😂. Actually though, I love diamond painting but I don't ever consider a completed diamond painting to be "art". I actually haven't hung a single one in our home. 😊

Hi Kim Thank you for sharing. I had this in my destash from the spring and it never did sell - after seeing your video I'm keeping it! 😅

I'm so happy to hear that! It really was a nice piece to work on, and because of its decent size, it doesn't take all that long. ❤️

I thought it was mascara, not blood, at least that’s how it looks coming across on KZbin. You did a great job and your placement is so perfect! However that image is way too sad for me. I would never be able to handle it. I guess that’s why there are hundreds and thousands of paintings out there. Anyway I love your laser focused format and i agree that some post reviews go on too long with details that don’t apply to most of us if we don’t have the kit. Great video 🎉❤

Thanks so much for that feedback. It definitely helps me to decide on the format for my videos. And yes, there are so many different images in the diamond painting world, that it gives all of us something that we like. My tastes are actually very varied and I'm happy working on most images, except for landscapes. I don't really enjoy those. ❤️
