Love your Zadie! I've always been tempted to make one, but I had decided at some point that I couldn't pull off a jumpsuit, that it wouldn't suit my body type or I am too old or not cool enough or any number of things I had convinced myself of. But then I was out shopping with my adult daughter recently, looking longingly at the selection of gorgeous jumpsuits in this young hip store she dragged me into, and she and the sales girl ganged up on me until I agreed to try one on. I loved it so much I bought two! And now I definitely want to make some. The Zadie, obviously, and I'm also considering the Blanca Flight Suit by Closet Core. So funny the ideas we get in our heads and how easily they can be changed if we get brave enough to challenge them. 💙

You are so right! We do put ourselves in unnecessary boxes sometimes even when we don't intend to. I'm so glad you ditched those thoughts and bought those jumpsuits 😎 I do like the Blanca too, it's very stylish x

Your Zadie is fabulous and you are glowing!! Colour suits you and your joy with your Zadie is just shining through. You are convincing me to try it ( I love the Avenir)…..not sure how it fits with my buying ban though 🤔. You were very restrained with your shopping which I totally get- I am not a rummager either but am in awe of those who are as they seem to get amazing things. Gorgeous Zadie. The colour is delicious. I am 5ft 9 tall with a longer body so i needed to add 1 inch to the rise as i struggled getting the toile off when i went the toilet

Going off on a bit of a tangent here, love you in your Zadie by the way. I’m making my first Nell dress and by now I see you as the expert! I really struggle with this type of neckline attaching the facing, the shape of it means it doesn’t seem to want to lie flat🤷‍♀️when turning it to the inside around the shoulder. Arggg, any tips or tricks, I seem the be sewing almost the wrong shape help! ❤

Oh no, have you understitched and snipped around the curves? I find this, especially the snipping, really helps everything to lie flat when you turn it the right way around. Get a couple of snips in close to each side of the shoulder seams too. If that doesn't help let me know x
