They were 2nd in WEC just before the car broke on last lap. It consistently flowed throughout, was 1 ton lighter than ferrari...if this is an improvement will do the justice

@@franklywithvenky1014 you started watching this year didnt you? The original 9x8 sucks, the only reason it did well in Qatar is because of the BoP and the smoothness of the track. It was the lightest car in the Hypercar field, at 1030kgs and because the car uses ground effect to generate most of its downforce it needs a very smooth track, like Qatar, to be effective. If this car truly is a good step, I reckon theyll still be behind Toyota in normal circumstances

I'll miss the wingless wonder, and enjoyed seeing it lead Le Mans, but thank goodness it still looks so cool with more conventional aero! Let's hope the transformation makes the difference.

Indeed, the wingless car was quite good, especially at Qatar! (Which had a sad ending for Peugeot as they did a Toyota). However, if they want to keep having a good performance like the one they had in Qatar, they will need this change. I'll miss the no wing car, but at least this car looks pretty good too, even with the wing! Good Luck in the WEC, Peugeot Sport!

They could have opted for a tall rear wing which would be more aerodynamically efficient, but they understood that the look of the car is iconic, so they chose an unusually-low rear wing with four supports; I appreciate that. Very cool. 👍

quite enjoy the design language showing quite well with the lighting setup, given the body shape is all LMP2. the lion metaphor needs work - stealth, hidden, explosive, rapid, agile, king, lethal, scary ... all apply to the creature as the car. anyway the lions are the british rugby team, aren't they?

The wing added is only a small element I be intrested to know what they did in the middle and the front now with the wing producing more downforce at the rear how that's change the balance. That car already looked rear stable I just hope there put more into the floor and front off the far and not just flung a wing on there for imola, hopefully it comes off at Le Mans

I really like the look of the new car, but the wingless version was perfection! It looked so much cooler than the other hypercars and it was absolutely unique! It’s a shame it didn’t work out properly.. Still a beautiful car, but lookswise the wingless car will forever have a place in my heart!
