=====================
While obtaining his degree in communication studies from Oakland University, Curtis Childs experienced an internal battle with depression that led him to question God and his lifelong interest in Swedenborgian theology. After a period of intense suffering, he recovered from his depression with the help of modern medicine, therapy, and a return to the spiritually uplifting messages he found in Swedenborg’s writings. Now, Curtis is applying his education and desire to help others find peace through Swedenborg’s insights by producing and hosting his weekly webcast. He’s happiest when he can use Swedenborg’s concepts to help someone solve something they used to think was unsolvable.
I hope you'll enjoy the episode 💙

Doesn't hurt to glance over a brochure before travelling, though, right? Otherwise why would so many of us watch videos like this? Swedenborg isn't an easy read though. Old fashioned type of language usage. It's not a tome for everyone, but it most assuredly does cover a lot of scenarios that most would find useful. Personal experience tops all, naturally.

Oh man, I used to listen to Curtis’ channel a lot driving to work or through the mountains during a really stressful time in my life and the exploration of the astral realm and opening my mind beyond the bleak existence I was put in for training really helped. This was more early in my spiritual exploration, when I was beginning to step more outside of the bounds of limitations of the belief structure I had grew up with. After being deployed for 10 months and hardly had access to the internet or the outside world, I forgot the channel and its name. It’s good to see Curtis here :)

They are always around you, when you think of them or look at their pictures they are there in that second. They love lighting a candle & singing happy Birthday to them. They all gather on a family members BD well before lighting (3/7) my brothers BD to celebrate his life. When it's My BD they fill my place up with parents sibling & Grandparents. It is bitter sweet, bc I miss seeing them with my eyes.

I feel in my heart when words have a strong spiritual vibration. I don't feel it here. I have seen a lot of my past lifes. They are all different but I am the same . Even other people , like relatives, they can look different, but you recognice the energy essens of the person. This don't resonate with me. But Jannicke did a good job.💖

You need to study-expose yourself to Emmanuel Swedenborg’s theology and work to know what Curtis is talking about. He wrote approx 19 books in Latin about the Afterlife, Heaven and Hell, etc. Perhaps if you familiarize yourself with what Curtis is referring to, you will find a vibe. No one can condense 26 years of Swedenborg’s experiences in one interview. The videos from Off the Left Eye on You Tube can provide this. Swedenborg influenced many aspects of western civilization. That this used to be widely known and isn’t now is due to our sorry, poor education currently.

At 33 min. and 45 sec., he's asked, "where was I before I came down to this earth." He delays the mentioning of God for just a few moments. When Created, a person intrinsically feels and contains The Relationship with their Creator, The Creator, God. "The Relationship" will appear many times during a person's spiritual journey. At 36 min., he mentions the word "temporary".... Jesus Says: 19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. I looked him up after having my own experience at met one of my Guides, the most beautiful being surrounded by light. His name is Joseph. He wore the most lightest blue robe, dark skin & surrounded by light. Just as real as looking at a human. We spoke telepathically. Know I know his energy & what it feels like when he's near me. Everything is energy. Spiritual growth is a contuim of experiences & is so magical. Robert Monroe left us a great body of work. I didn't know of this until a couple of years after that experience. Thanks for having Curtis on, this was really informative. I would encourage serious consideration of what Swedenborg had to say about reincarnation, because I think that in the quest for better understanding of who and what we are, where we came from, and where we are going, the idea of reincarnation is a monkey wrench in the gears of our understanding, it completely clouds the idea of identity and in general just muddies the waters. I believe Swedenborg's explanation does not ignore the evidence that many use to justify belief in reincarnation, rather it explain it in a plausible way.

I also feel the same way as you about how he said we don't reincarnate. I feel like there is too much compelling evidence for reincarnation that I can't deny. I would love to just have this one life since I personally don't want to keep coming back, so that would be great if his theory was correct but I highly doubt it. What does everyone else think?

Very interesting perspective. I have always believed in reincarnation, and then they’re saying everything happens at the same time because there is no time is a hard concept for us to grasp. What about the fact that some people channel beans that lived on earth in a certain time. And that can be verified, such as Dr. Peebles. And then some children can verify who they were in their last life, because it has been verified in history or newspapers of that certain time. I do like to embrace all aspects and ideas. Very interesting show. Thank you!

In my " Death & Dying" class her work was discussed. She writes a excellent book for people when a loved one passes on. I call it leaving the body bc their energy never dies. I am the last on left here on Earth in my family. I've helped pass 3 of my family members & I am greatful that I was there with them bc often people are scared of the unknown. I worked in Nursing for over 20 years & most rewarding. If one is so inclined Hospice is in need of volunteers to to sit with people, just be present with them in that moment.💛

yaneka asked a very good ques. Who are we in the afterlife since we reincarnate as diifrent people? i would think that after evry reincarnation we are also growing we are the same in spirit, but our bodies are also evolving, so in the afterlife i think we would look like our final reincarnation! or if someone doesnt recognise us from an earlier reincarnation, to them we would look more like that previous physical person that we were. wow tuff but good question, but i think wed look mostly like our final reincarnation in the afterlife.

Reading up, so I’m primed on this info-the 3 levels, pertains to the levels of heaven, it also pertains to the humans inner world, and the level where you fit in, in heaven, also correlates to your own rich inner love/wisdom/intelligence. Your level of purity. As well, Angels also have to follow these rules of levels, and their jobs are inner and outer of each level. Each level being does have to stay within its own placement though. No intermingling of levels. Also each individual has a god spark that prescribed you, your levels and attributes, not even an Angel can read, (they have them too), it’s specifically for the Lord.

Putting god's love into words is impossible anyway. It's all stories and words. Some are closer to truth than others, but it's also all one, so it doesn't really matter. In my eyes, what matters is whatever moves towards a net positive for the universe/god/you.

Awwww. So much of this doesn’t make sense, sounds artificially manufactured, nor does it answer the most important and burning questions. Although I think the intention of the guest seems to be on the ‘good’ side, and earnest. Guess this is good example of how someone or something can sound so logical and clear minded but when you think more deeply on it - the essence of it lacks substance and resonance. Much guesswork. Much development of a theory based on the human brain and inability to comprehend divinity and infinity. Peace out 🌿

It is hard to believe that the most basic questions went unasked. The gentleman said that we never die but he didn’t say that everyone goes to heaven. He wasn’t asked about the Hell NDE’s that people have. Is that subject taboo?
@darnellaford8141
@darnellaford8141 3 ай бұрын
NDE's are based upon each person's own consciousness. Hell is experienced as a result of one's own awareness, and is only experienced by those "creating" it and requiring it for their own learning. "Hell and Heaven" are both states of mind and not an actual "place." There are MANY dimensions and experiences available in the Afterlife (actually, in this life too). So, you will experience what you are most aligned with.

Some spiritual people do not want to be asked certainn questions. He may have requested to go over the questions in advance. There can be many reasons.... did not ever visit personally that place, has an explanation but not ready or yet capable of explaining it well and so worried that some may misinterpret with potential neg. ramifications, another is not wanting to get in front of God on select questions in that one may believe are best taught in The one-to-One individual way.

Swedenborg’s most famous work is titled Heaven and Hell and gives fairly detailed information about the entire spiritual world (heaven, hell, and the “world of spirits” between them). Curtis’s Off The Left Eye channel has lots of content about hell and evil spirits. The basic answer to your question from the POV of Swedenborg’s teachings is that the Lord creates every human being for an eternal life of connectedness with Him in heaven, but He gives us free will to choose that connection. If we spend our lives here rejecting Him in favor of ourselves, loving our self more than others, then we will live eternally in hell, in disconnection from Him, with other like-minded people. Per Swedenborg, hell isn’t a punishment per se, but is where selfish and evil people can be happiest, though it’s a very empty, shallow, and self-serving happiness, nothing like the deep peace and blessings of a heavenly existence.
