There’s SOME misinformation here. Profits generated by the Duchy of Cornwall and the Duchy of Lancaster does go to Prince William and King Charles directly. However, 88% of profits generated by the Crown Estate goes directly to the Treasury so benefits taxpayers. The coast line, rented by the RNLI is owned by the Crown Estate so most of what they pay goes to the Treasury. The Sovereign Grant is the remaining 12% of the profits generated by the Crown Estate.

We need a full audit of where the money goes. The 'settlement' was that they wouldn't make a profit out of the crown estate. If they haven't done that abolish them. Its time the land was given back to the people of this country.
