Authority & Power Pt 3

Authority is your inheritance in Christ, and was given to you the moment you believed. But how can we discern whether problems around us or within us are demonic or not?
We are told not to give the devil a foothold. A foothold is an open door for influence in our lives. Strongholds are lies that we believe that prevent us from experiencing the freedom that God has given us.
Strongholds are removed by receiving the truth of God. While deliverance from demonic oppression can occur in a moment, removing strongholds requires progressive belief in the truth and taking authority over our thoughts by abiding in the word of God.
Just as God gave Joshua victory in the promised land, he will give us victory over strongholds as we abide in the truth of God.

Thank you Pastor David. I really appreciated this sermon. I struggle with my mental health and I don't know anymore. I'm not suicidal but living is becoming something I'm losing interest in at times. I dont want that because life is a gift. I love what was me. I love how God created me. I don’t know why I am struggling so much anymore. I could give a hundred reasons but I can't pin point it anymore. Just so much from childhood to now. I wish I had someone to hug. This is all just too much and overwhelming. I just want to feel safe again. I want to feel love and strong hope. I know Jesus loves me but sometimes I'm fustrated that he's not here to actually be with me and talk to me physically. I don’t know your email but I wish I could send you emails of encouraging words and positive messages based on what I see. I love the light inside of you that comes from Jesus ❤
