People use it, it just isn't very effective anymore. You'll see it more in woman's mma due to less experience. People really understand how to strike on a completely different level now. It's a nice combo but superman punches are high energy, people set up leg kicks with more energy efficient methods and are way more effective at attacking legs. Id think that helps with the trainers more than the fighter because that would mean based on their reactions how open is the window to counter strike so thatd be implemented into pad work to get that timing down.
