Such an incredible writer. My first encounter with Jesus came as I read Redeeming Love when I was 12 years old. I've loved her work since and I've learned so much. Her characters are so well fleshed out and her stories are saturated with the Word. From Hadassah to Sarah to Rahab, she writes her characters beautifully.

I am such a fan of reading Franzine Rivers' books. Am looking foward to reading the new publications. I have always given away Mrs. Rivers' books after reading them to share with others. This interview has got me up to date and I am very thankful.

Great Interview! Thank you for sharing with us! I have personally read through Redeeming Love a dozen time and just finished it again recently. I think it is a great bridge to show other about God's love for those who don't necessarily want o hear about Christianity. Thank you for all your hard work and your one of a kind reads! I am working through your other books as well, I love them all :), and cant wait to see the Redeeming Love film!

Sorry but her books show patterns of male abuse and seem to defend it in her novels. The female being a doormat, while the man mistreats them. I found her books highly disturbing

I wouldn’t let my daughter watch this. The novel along with all her other books are just off. If you read many of her other books, it shows the male character clearly verbally and physically abusing the female character, and the woman being like a doormat to this type of abuse. Then forgiving the abuser and being ok with being treated in a fashion. As far as I am concerned that type of relationship is toxic
