Or did it start counting after you were approved for monetization? Again, you had 100k+ impression and you mentioned “you only get paid for verified impressions.” Does it mean that people without blue tick don't add value to your impression? Also, to get your initial 5m impression to be eligible for monitization, does the above statement apply here or both premium users and normal accounts adds up to the 5M required impressions?

1. You only get paid for impressions after you are monetized. 2. Correct, you will not get paid when unverified people view your posts. 3. All impressions count toward the 5 million. Unverified + verified.

Great video! I have a question: when you reached the thresholds, was the start of ad revenue sharing automatic? Or did you have to connect your bank account first? Was it instantaneous after that? Because here's a theoretical scenario I'm wondering about: Let's say you have all thresholds met except for impressions, but you don't want to farm it, and just use twitter like normal. But then, you have A SINGLE TWEET that blows up to over 50M impressions in A DAY after going viral. After that lucky tweet, I'm wondering if it's set up so you get to reap the rewards immediately while it's hot. Because then, even if you lose monetization later, you might get lucky again in the future - and that's honestly a decent incentive to get people to on premium: just in case you can monetize that ONE time you get 15 minutes of fame.

My understanding is that once you sign up for premium, it starts tracking your revenue. However, in order to receive a payout, you have to meet the thresholds and connect your Stripe account. So theoretically, you could have $100 of revenue generated, but you wouldn’t get it until you connect Stripe.

The issue I have is that it's such a mystery how much they will actually pay you. I find it very difficult to find my stats also. And it's a shit ton of work if you subtract the monthly subfee. Its a smart move from X because you get a ton of engagement at a very low cost, but it's not that nice for the users.Maybe this will change maybe not. Thnx for sharing

You probably haven’t made $10 yet. You won’t get a payout until you reach that. Ads should be showing in your replies right away, even if you can’t see them.

You have to do 3 things to get monetized: - Subscribe to X premium - Get 500 followers - Get 5 million impressions in 90 days If you have done all those things, you are immediately eligible.
