You can't expect to become an engeneer, lawyer, doctor, teacher etc without attending college. You need the education. Working hard doesn't always get you where you want to be if you lack the proper knowledge.

I’ve watched you since I was in middle school (graduated high school in june of 2018) and I just want to say how proud I am of you bc of how far you’ve came. I could definitely relate to everything you said, especially about the not eating right. I know when I get into really depressed states I tend to lose tons of weight. It's so crazy seeing you grow up. I'm just 2 months younger than you and follow you since 2013. I lit grew up with you and hella miss my teen years watching your vlogs and kinda tumblr-ish videos ytbers used to do back in 2014; like 3 years ago u started becoming way less different to a regular 17 yr old, like, you matured and started this empire looking like a girl boss but just 17 and u also posted less regularly to the point i missed u on social media. Keep your head up and know you can only get better at something, not worse :) I’m 25, that is what I learned and this is also what I learned: if it sounds too good to be true, it is. And also that people are where they want to be in their lives. By me saying that it’s really important to focus on yourself because you are really all you got. Like you said in the video people are selfish. But I feel you’re like me and you’re really self-less. I’m really hard on myself and I let people take advantage. But you’re a little younger than me but you’ll learn way more than me since I’m you’re doing and learning everything a little earlier than I did :) but I’m proud of you and I look to you as the example of where I want to be in my life. I completely understand with the whole friend thing!! I had the same outlook initially about wanting that one person to prioritize me! Especially after I went off to college I slowly realized that at the end of the day people are going to do what is best for them, and that's fine because I should be doing the same. That doesn't mean everyone in life will betray me or anything like that, but having an understanding that you can't put all of your eggs in one basket! At the end of the day people will do what's best for them, but I had to realize that good friends would find a way to do it respectfully, while maintaining our relationship in a healthy way.

i relate SO much to what you said about friendships. it’s always been hard for me to make friends because i expect people to give me the same loyalty and honesty in return. it’s honestly why i prefer serious relationships too. i’m now in college and still find it hard to maintain a solid group of friends or even a few people for that matter, but i have two people that have been in my life for a while now and i’m thankful for them. sometimes it’s just hard because i always feel like i’m missing out on life.
