Hi Tucker, same problem with my Maverick- the fuel tank pressure valve within the fuel cap was blocked. Had an engine out after 7 liters of fuel burned!! Same case, Parajet was very nice and took care of it immediately by providing full set of fuel tank and one extra cap. Anyway, I disassembled the cap, the vent plastic cover was pushed too deep in, which blocked the rubber valve in a wrong position... I recommend to check that asap!;) Enjoy the machine! Greetings from Slovakia ;)

Hey Tucker, thanks for another awesome video! Great footage and editing/narrating. Really fun. Question (hope it's not impolite to ask): I know you used to fly Scouts alot and wondering if there's anything you can share about why the switch (if it is a switch)? I'm sure both paramotors have pros & cons, just interested in the comparison.

Hey buddy, I just got my new parajet zenith (still have the maverick) and I am so loving it. Parajet has some great paramotors. It's funny you mentioned the vent cap, I swear my gas tank was getting sucked in but I have not heard of that happening. It actually caused an engine out at one point! I swapped out the cap and it's been fine ever since. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

On a recent fly-in, I witnessed a lineover. Seeing it as soon as the wing popped up, I cringed, knowing the coming result. Cartwheel, & heavily damaged machine. The pilot was ok, but bruised, & had the wind knocked out. Pilots, always check your lines, as you kite up your wing. Only hit fly mode, AFTER all checks out as good!
@RwP2232 жыл бұрын
This is why I prefer reverse launching, you have the best view of the wing and lines. Regardless, "Is the wing happy" is the laat thought before full commit, full throttle, sprint into the sky!

question. i know paramotor parts generally just bolt together, and you torque them to spec, but have you ever seen anyone use lockwire on a paramotor before?
@pepperjackshack24392 жыл бұрын
It can be done but the vibrations make it not a primary means for safety, only used for backup safety. The bolts are also so small it’s hard to get them drilled to spec.
@bryanjk2 жыл бұрын

Most two 2strokes btw enjoy a 50% throttle, with consistent modulation, for the first few tanks of gas. The modulation of throttle is also key for break in. Cheers again bro!
@SmittySmithsonite2 жыл бұрын
@@whitelamborghinigoesskrrts9948 Paramotor manufacturers outline a very LONG and specific break-in procedure. Even as a small engine mechanic of close to 30 years, it's like nothing I've ever seen or heard of. I'm not familiar with Vittorazi's procedure, but it's probably somewhat similar to my brand paramotor. The break-in of my Talon 190 3.0 from Blackhawk took close to an hour straight. They want you to warm it up at around 2,800-3k until you hit 200°-250°F (I varied the RPM rather than hold it steady at that RPM), make sure it idles at 2k to 2,200, then hit 2,500 RPM for 5 minutes, then 3k-3,500 for 15 min., 4k for another 15, then shut down, look for oil leaks, retorque prop bolts, then fire it up and go back to 2,500 for 5, 3k-3,500 for 5, 4k for 5, then 4,500 for 15, shut down, recheck everything again, then let it sit a minimum 8 hours, then check head nut torque when cool. Then you'll want to fire it up, warm it up, and go full bore for a few seconds to make sure you're able to hit 7,800-8k RPM. Let cool again, check head nut and prop bolt torques again. Now it's time for a few flights to check fuel mixture, then go easy on it (No super long full-bore runs, or super hot head temps) for the first 10 hours. By the time you do everything on the ground, it'll have 1.2 hours on it.

Starting at point, 7:25 and especially 7:32, the prop chattering sounds excessive. NOT a fan of E-Props due to their LACK of replying to customer service issues when pointing out ANYTHING NEGATIVE. The website won't even accept any negative questions. It will say... "system is down", BUT when asking a simple question, "Which propeller should i use as a beginner"... BAM!!!
