Pro tip I’ve learned in my 9yrs. Once you wash the vehicle & finish drying, do your tire shine and then keep going. If you do tire shine last the overspray goes back on the vehicle leaving tiny dots after you’ve already cleaned it. Once I do the tires I do my speed wax on the vehicle, then get the interior done. Glass & final wipe down is last for me

Thanks for the tip. I’ll try that on my next wash. Before applying a spray ceramic coating on a car that has never been protected what should I do before applying it?
@Cobe93232 жыл бұрын
@@IVAN2233 wash it with dawn soap to strip any thing on the vehicle dry it and then apply your ceramic spray. Always have 2 clean towels 1 to apply the spray and the other to wipe any excessive spray.
@PolishedMobileDetailing5032 жыл бұрын
@@IVAN2233 you should use a strip wash and properly decontaminate the paint prior. Dawn has very little lubrication properties on paint.
@robertl955 Жыл бұрын
Thats if you spray the tire shine directly on the tires, if you spray it or pour it on an applicator you dont have to worry about the tiny dots.

Pro tip: skip the wash, spray it all down in tire shine. Hides all the dirt and saves an hour. Interior too.

I hit my wifes 2020 sequoia TRD in a hour wash, spray wax & interior. I do it every week so it’s not that tough. I’m a firefighter in CA and considering starting a detailing side hustle everyone always compliments my rides for how clean they are. I love detailing cars. Especially the fire engine. Thx for the content.

I literally just finished two newAudi SUVs in 1 hr 34 min just before it got dark started at 5 finished at dusk at 634pm. I do their cars every week but usually takes 2 hrs 10 min. I foamed them let the light dirt run off then rinse. Then refoam cars. and used a couple microfibers to run over car fast. Then I hit the windows inside and quick vacuumed since they were so clean already it took no time at all. Once done the exterior was almost dry so I just quick ceramic detail sprayed the paint for added protection and dressed tires. I was surprised I got it all done. But this kind of wash couldn't have been done on filthy cars. I know the cars have to already be pretty clean to be able to knock them out in 45 min a piece. If time is limited I let all clients know what can be done and what will be skipped and price accordingly.

It takes me hours to an interior but usually they are dirty as can be and need some water extraction. I clean every nook and cranny but once I'm more pro I hope to find quicker ways to knock it out in shorter times
