Yessss! Short story but ... My childhood friend one of the people in my "squad" before there were squads lol she used to always try to embarrass me in front of her family or disrespect me and try to belittle me, when we would go to end of the year before summer break dinners we would do with each others family... She would tell all my embarrassing stories and secrets about me that I told her and I NEVER expected her to tell anyone - especially not in front of her family members some who I was meeting for the first time! I was mortified even her family felt bad for me. Nope I was finally done after that, I used my voice spoke up confronted her, and I was nice to her as we got older because honestly her mom was the best and her mom and mine were good friends, but after high school I dropped her like a hot potato on fire. haha 😂😂 One of the best decisions I ever made - I finally found my voice! You don't ever have to stay friends with toxic people because they are in your "squad" life is too short and we don't have time to waste.
