@LaviandOllie I knew it! Used to live in statseith lots of snow, long winters. Long distance snowmobiling ws a blast, whether in heavy soft snow, or racing across glass like frozen lakes, sometimes in excess of 130 k 's.! In the meantime have fun on those 350 RE's.

Hope it's ok to say, as this is a tech episode, that this video is using the lower quality AV codec rather than the VP09 codec on KZbin which is better quality. VP09 is really helpful when you have complex scenes like a fast-moving background or water etc. KZbin doesn't explain how the process works but essentially if you render your video as a low enough frame size etc then it'll pick the AV codec which is smaller and faster to transcode. You can play around with render settings but generally 4K output should result in a KZbin video using the VP09 codec. You can view this under the "stats for nerds" if you right click on a video. Just hope this helps a bit and doesn't sound patronising! 🙏

My AV receiver shows the resolution of KZbin as being 720P, so obviously they reduce resolution to improve download speeds.

@pauljoyquilter359 KZbin offers a range of sizes depending on device and download speed and will offer 720 if that works best but it could also be 2160p which is obviously going to be better quality, however uploading source in 4k should mean the VP09 encoder is used, which is better quality in itself, instead of the AV encoder even if a smaller resolution is selected for download. It's the source upload I'm talking about, not the encoded download result.

Wow! You guys have splashed out with the recording equipment! My Macbook would crash in editing if I tried to record all my videos in 4K! That's some interesting history about Weedon! There's a good chance I'll be passing right by Weedon! How exciting riding Sri Lanka! A while back I was invited to enter a competition for motorbike content creators to ride on a tour through Sri Lanka, all I had to do was create a video introducing myself and my riding experience or something like that. But it was at a really busy time for me and I never did it! I wish I had! I'm looking forward to seeing the videos!

After watching every episode of your round the world trip and the TET I am surprised you would do opt to do all inclusive video tourism tour. One of the most interesting parts of your trips to me was the challenges you faced along the way from borders, to language barriers , to finding places to stay and eat. Good to see that Lavi is so comfortable now riding on the street that she will ride with her left hand off the handlebar for more than 30 seconds. Might not be a good idea to do that too much on the 350, since it is a bit heavier than the 125 and will require more steering input. Just trying to keep you as safe as possible. 😊❤

I live right across from a nitro glycerin plant from WW1. They supposedly never made it there. Only thing left is the underground bunkers. Funny thing is, the towns name is Nitro. The hole town was built in 1 year. Houses we’re brought in on trains and bolted together.

@LaviandOllie I have a gp11,mostly I use flat then a bit of correction in post,but sometimes I think natural looks good ,always use low sharpness tho,probably depends on the light,dismal day,natural, sunny days flat,but that's my take on it. Others may have better ideas.

However, I kinda miss the ambient noise in the audio (specifically some engine noise - you are motorcycling after all) perhaps you could blend some back into the mix.

If you’re recording on the new kit, the quality is patchy/bitmapped at times, you may have to review the MicroSD card to the highest record speed. U3 A2 or better. Now onto the really comment, really looking forward to the Sri Lanka trip.
