Don’t know how I missed this one Lee being a Bond movie fan. The only trouble was I didn’t see you in the video until 9:08 when some supercool Bond guy said “Let’s come out of character for a minute”. He was certainly dressed for the part and would make a supercool Bond actor 🤣lol. Seriously though that steak looked the real deal and those onion rings and chips super crispy. Loved the video effects too especially if the gun on the camera lens. Looks a super classy place to stay especially in the Bond room. Nice work😉👍

Hi, the place looks great & the meal too. I would have the steak rare & just mashed potato, no chips. I think that I would have to stay at lest 3 or 4 nights to enjoy some of the different dishes & to enjoy walking in the wonderful countryside. Morning Lee, or should i Say Mr Bond... just eaten an egg bap for brekkie, stopped the vid @ 11.50 to give my rating !! From the Chef's explanation to the food on the plate its a Solid Ten, i cant find fault with any of the Presentation. and i do get you like your Steak medium. anymore than that for me is Cremation. in fact i wont cook a fillet ike that i tell them to cook there own !! This is just pure Bond theatre with fine dining literally at its Best. Enjoy... im switching back on for the finale and scores on the doors Big Cee. Thailand

Thats the best vlog you have ever done Lee, your quality in production has risen ten fold.. Places like that are so much better than the Corporate Hotels very envious. Food absolutely straight 10 and the accommodation is so warming. Nothing better than staying over night so you can get half bladdered and then tuck into a delicious Brekkie in the morning. On a foot note I always order my steak rare because 9 times out of 10 a Chef will over cook so you got to juggle it.

Great vlog episode thx. The succulent filet on the mutant mushroom cap - I almost drowned in my drool. So steak in the UK is brilliantly done and less expensive than in the States. I'm a bit pouty over that, especially because I suspect we possess more cows. Maybe Biden has wrecked that too. If you'll forgive a rueful observation, the sides seem to regress to the mean. You get the steak of the gods with onion rings. Why not cotton candy? It's half 5-star and half Burger King. Here you would pay more. You could get a baked potato, redskin mashed potato, jalapeño grits (which belongs on the menu of the cafeteria at Lourdes) asparagus, creamed spinach. I am not suggesting that these items don't exist in the UK, but I see warehouses of fries and onion rings being consumed. Hey, it's unpretentious. In any event, if our prices aligned, I'd eat steak 3-4X per week. You were funny. Enthusiastic. Engaging as always.

Looks great but in my personal opinion the steak is over cooked. I see the restaurant recommend the steak cooked rare, for me I would have it medium rare, but yours is cooked medium. With that thickness od steak, medium tends to mean the outside is overcooked and quite crispy. Those onion rings look amazing as well.

Lee I’m only going to give it 7 as steak a little overcooked for medium and mashed potatoes to much cream or butter. Lee if you’re going for the role as bond your steak should say Rare Very Rare.
