the pen license thing was the same in my Schoo, I'm from the UK. However, my handwriting is terrible, I never got my pen license but when I moved into year 5 they said we all had to use pen now so I dunno. I tried so hard to get my pen license, they even made me do extra handwriting lessons during lunchtimes and I still couldn't get it lol

What kind of waffle was he eating?
