Doing rug cleaning occasionally myself, i wonder why you do not use the pressurized washer directly after the first rinse to press the worst dirt out of the fiber. Also, i see the use of your dirt reynolds directly after wetting the rug as a hazard for the fibres, because it rubs the dirt over and into them. I use a pressurized water gun, working at 80 psi, to "inject" water and detergent into the fiber. Last rug i cleaned was lying in the entrance of a car workshop - between the bureau and the workshop itself - that wasn't washed for more than twelve years. One of the worst ones i've ever seen (apart from yours, of course), took me seemingly endless time to clean. And i had to use the strongest detergents i could find. Greetings from Nuremberg, Germany.
