After seeing a smoking tire review of the Detomaso the Ring Brothers built I was out. When baking a cake make sure you can eat it before decorating it. It is the 69 camaro that everybody is fed up seeing built.

I like many builds they do but I get carbon fiber but after over half the car is replaced by it why not just go to a junkyard and buy just the body no front or deck lid and build from that? The time for deconstruction would be saved in man hours.

From what I understand this was based on molds from the build they did a few years ago called "VALKYRJA" (Valkyrie). You also have to remember that SEMA builds are all about promoting components from the aftermarket, so the use of Chassis from Roadster Chop, Crate Motors, Ridetech or Hotchkiss Suspensions is a big part of it. And to quote Dave Kindig, "Stock Sucks", especially when it's been rusting for decades in the junkyard! ;)

Interior is hideous. The one thing one should never do is to bring a modern Shamaro interior into a classic Camaro. That is outrageously bad looking. The exterior inherits all the worst of modern detailing with that silly roof design/paint. I hope since they said this is carbon fiber that no classic Camaro was pimped out. This is such a disappointment. The truck is also awful (though the grill is the best part). Interior is also third rate and looks very cheap (like a new Bronco/Maverick) on the door panels.
