the thing is that the beam already hits the target multiple times, and it can only hit a set number of times per second, so that's why one beam twice doesn't increase the dmg, but multiple different beams at the same time do.

something important abt revelation is that its charge time is always 2.5s, so items like eves mascara or polyphemus increase its DPS by a lot

@@bouncybob1780 brim occupies your tears slot and changes it while revelations goes alongside it, like maw. Both items have multiple synergies, both of them use your damage and ignore tears, etc etc.

I swear it has heavier loot pool than other items, i have unlocked it for like 2 or 3 weeks and i have never seen it in a run. I have seen sacred heart but no revalation. I am asuming its as rare as mega laser

It also greatly synergise with Marked, in the same way as with Brimstone actualy. It auto-recharges and can shoot diagonaly which was very helpful in beast fight when i got one.

if you're gonna keep doing these videos I recommend getting the mod "DaRules!!" it let's you spawn any entity as well as create conditions with triggers, like "whenever player is hurt, trigger kill all enemies in x range" it's 100% cheating but it is useful for showcases such as these.

Revelation could have good combo with neptune, but revelation's brimstone works like old lil brimstone - you can attack while brim is working

Got it in a greed run, it's kind of underwhelming. In order to charge Revelation and Brimstone you have to fire, but Brimstone usually charges sooner to Revelation. When you fire Brimstone, Revelation stops charging then. This means in order to use both at the same time, you have to go without dealing any damage for quite a bit of time.

Maybe the continuum beam did the same damage because you fired to the wall, so the first beam didn't hit the dummy, only the second one.

Revelation definitely needs to get touched up, its laser has a bunch of synergies that clearly don't function properly, I also feel as though the beam itself should have a slight decrease in damage
