That softening of your heart is all you need well im sure Holy Spirit plays a big part. I was so embarrassed when my Mum become a Christian. I would cringe when she tried to talk to me about Jesus and would never go church when she asked. Long story short, i was in situation where I had to get a higher power and was told I can make one up. I didnt know much about higher powers or God but I new i defiantly should not be making one up. I decided I would go to a Baptist church like my Mum not believing obviously and not diss believing. I was willing to give it a go and I could not help but believe after a while.... So that softening your heart is not just a thing you say it really works. Thats not to say you dont loose common sense and think of how you would go about making it up, like Jesus having a twin and so on... Thats the good thing about Christianity it stands up to scrutiny. You can not test God but still evidence backs up a howl lot of it. I didn't realise how strong the evidence is untill after I actually become a believer.

Thank you for clarifying the day of the Sabbath. That day the Sabbath which is on Saturday. Most churches do not clarify what the Bible says in detailed. It is hard to convince most worshippers that Saturday is the day to worship God. The Bible confirms the word of God and not of man the day that we are to worship Him. Glory to God.

Hi B.R. Shalom. Jesus kept the sabbath because he had to fulfil all that is written in the Law and in the prophets and in the psalms concerning him. Luke 24:44. The 1st day of the week is the Lord's day i. e. the the day Jesus rose from the dead and the church was born on the day of Pentecost, the 1st day of the week and the church met on the 1st day of the week. Acts Ch.2.; 1Corinthians 16:1-2; Revelation 1:10. The law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ that we mught be justified by faith, but after faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster, For we are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Mark Finley's said we need to rely on Gods word and not mans. Let's test this. God says in 62 different verses, the sun moves, but the earth is stationary. God commanded the SUN and MOON to stand still during Joshua's long day, he did NOT command the earth to stand still. Why? Because the earth doesnt move, God literally said in scripture "The earth is STATIONARY AND DOES NOT MOVE". God said the earth is a "circle" not a globe. In revelation, God says he will blot out a 3rd of the sun. Do you understand what this means? Man claims that the earth moves and that it takes approx 365 days for the earth to revolve around the sun. If God blots out a 3rd of the sun, that means the earth would be in darkness for half the year minimum. God says his sun and moon are wheels in the sky. Which means they move. The book of Enoch and Jubilees is very clear that the sun moves and not the earth. God says the earth is stationary and sits on 4 pillars keeping it from moving. It is man that claims the earth moves, the bible doesnt have 1 single verse that claims this. You failed your own test mark finley. If the earth was a globe that was spinning, it would be impossible for all the stars to fall to earth like the book of revelation says will happen. Isiah says the firmament above (not under) the earth is shaped like a tent. God says there are ENDS to the earth, not a never ending circle going around the earth. Yet noone will listen to God because NASA and man have taught you this preconceived knowledge and you do not care what God has to say. If God and NASA disagree, you side with NASA. Be aware why you will fail, it is no mystery, you follow your father the devil.

I appreciate 7th Day Adventists in their drive to clarify prophecy; however, I don’t buy the Sabbath baggage. Col2:14-16. Clearly the Bible states that in whatsoever ye do, do as unto the Lord. I do agree as the reformers did that the Papacy is Anti-Christ. Likewise the Mass is evil, to treat Jesus as a Cow, Sheep, or Goat; and to sacrifice Him continually. Hebrews 7:27, Hebrews 9:12. My Bible says that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and Romans 12:1 says that we should give ourselves daily as a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Him.

Curt Brockhaus Yup, I hear ya. Baptists & SDA are anathema/heretic to the Roman Catholic church, according to the council of Trent. It’s not what Baptist or SDAs have done. Catholicism does not allow salvation by grace alone. Likewise, anyone who does not agree with the Mass for any reason is in the same condition, regardless of what the Bible says. BTW, Id like to read you car owners manual version, it sounds interesting.

In Germany Monday is the first day of the week on their calendar making Sunday the final day of the week. In the USA Sunday is the first day on our calendar making Saturday the final day of the week. So in Germany Sunday would be the Sabbath but in the USA we must call Saturday the Sabbath. This is a contradiction and wondering how one is to handle this?

truthsetsyoufree I think sabbath means shabat which became Saturday. If the Germans have a day called Saturday, then I think that would be their seventh day as well. Which in essence is our same Saturday just going into different time zones. And Spanish "sabado" also came from the Greek word for Sabbath, sabbaton, and that's as well our Saturday.

Hello, good questions. Jesus warned against such extremes. The religious leaders of the day had heaped all kinds of man made restrictions on the Sabbath. Jesus broke those man made restrictions by healing people on the Sabbath. Matthew 12:12 says …"it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath" He showed how the Sabbath commandment was to be kept.
