This was one of those 3am tracks that took you into another dimension.. 30 years old and it still blows away 95% of what passes as dance music these days, so sayeth the old man

Just came up in suggested videos . Great oldskool tune. Have it on tape but never knew what it was. Crazy thing is i never remember hearing it live, maybe . I think its late 90 after august and by then i buggered off to Australia for 3 years where there the rave scene had just begun in 91 , so it was like 88/89 all over again. Crazy times ,keep on raving or searching for tunes probably till im ^6ft under init /:

Apologies for the very late reply. It was out definitely before August 1990. This came out early 1990, produced late 1989. I read that part on a forum in the mid 2000s posted by one of the people associated with the record label when it was being put together. I got hold of it during the spring of 1990 shortly after hearing it being played on Dance 93.0 / 94.0 FM. It just wasn't played that much compared to other more obvious, more mainstream sounding tunes, but that depended on where you lived, timing or what clubs you went to / which DJs were playing. Or just pure luck :) I only ever heard tunes from this record played at parties, two, maybe three times maximum.

+alan bridger Yep. You're not wrong there. The whole release is excellent. But my fave tracks will always be this one and the main track Synth-It. So dark and mesmerising.
