You did a great job of videoing your build. Looking forward to your next one. :)

Nice job on the build. I've seen the original at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. One thing I noticed on the original is a yellowing on the cowl, probably caused Butyrate dope that has aged. I've got the kit, need to get serious.

Very nice work. Only question I have with a lot of builds I've seen, instead of running a big glob of putty donw a seam, why not mask it off on both sides and trowel the putty smooth? After a few minute, remove the tape. It saves a lot of sanding and mistakes of catching the non sanded areas.

Nice job, but you left off the fuel tank vents on the wing.

nice job, but many paint jobs I do before assembling the components and sub-assemblies. it would have been easier to paint the tyres black, paint the rims silver and then to glue them. you glue them, spray everything black, spray everything silver and then paint the tyres black again. you did everything to thre last detail, but the job regarding applying the engine cover decals was poor.

The original Spirit of St. Louis is hanging and can be viewed at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Wasington D.C. No man died piloting this plane.
