Although it's not accurate I love the old school, Monogram kit. Thanks for the unboxing. I'll be watching

The original monogram 1969 chev camaro z 28 kit came as an 2n1 kit. Stock or drag .this vversion feaatured parts to make a dual turbocharged Engine, with motorwheel rare front and Rear wlheels. The headers ended wlith sidde pipes. Some nice racing decals were alsu included.l always thought the turbo setup would look good on Tom Daniels 1960 sedan delivery. And it had a Z 28 engine too!!

Nice comparison. I recently bought two of the new ones done by Revell. Looking forward to building those. Thanks for sharing.

I'd reccomend checking them. There are reports of some bad units, specifically in the tail light housing, and the front fender wells, warpage and short shots. Open and investigate while returns/exchanges are still an option for you! Fingers crossed!

@@doinstuffwiththings I bought them on vacation, 350 miles away, so I’m stuck with them good or bad.

Revells 69'Z28 was first offered in 1989/90,Amt and Mpc offered kits in 67-69,the only real difference in the new tool is dog dish caps taken from the Revell 69'copo nova kit and they tooled up a new hood with separate louvers.

I wish they would of left the louvers off tbh. Love to be able to build a full on sleeper, no cowl, no vents just a stock hood.

@@doinstuffwiththings Replicas & miniatures company of Maryland makes the stock flat hood,i'm using one to build a 69'Z28 with it.
