Es sieht super aus! Ich habe das gleiche flugzeug gebaut und mir sind die gelben decals geriesen deswegen hab ich die gelben stellen selber lackiert und so das ganze flugzeug ruinert 😖ich werde deswegn nächsten monat die revell boeing 747-8 lufthansa new livery bauen!

Marina Masaltsiva thanks, I didnt have a stencil. I masked it with masking tape. Before I applied the masking tape, I drawed a line with a pencil on the plane so that I know where to apply it.

Patrik Adorjan i looked it up on the boeing website and on the instructions. The boeing website provides 3d models of all their current planes with all airlines. That makes decal designing easier too.

Did you use a full on black on the tail? I ordered a kind of dark brown chocolate town for that section.... Now you got me thinking if i should just go full black, also, sorry for the many questions did you coated gloss at the end?

I used a mixture of leather brown, reddish brown and black. Jut I think normal black will do its job too. I also used some layers of tamiya and revell gloss coat.

Beautiful build! Couple of painting/assembly sequence questions... In what order did you paint the fuselage and wings? Looks like you painted the fuselage white, then mask and paint the black tail section? Paint the wings before attaching to the fuselage? I'm doing the same model with the DHL/Polar Express decals and paint scheme. Thanks so much!

Ian Miles I have glued on the wings first because I thought they need to get puttied, then I painted the back of the fuselage black, then the white color and then I painted the wings grey.

You need to order those colors or buy them local. For ordering I can suggest Ebay, the Revell online store and other model stores like megahobby. But if this is your fist model i would suggest you starting with a small model like the erj190 as this one was my first one too.

@@Latvian_spotter Some cheap paint wouldn't work it'd damage the model and mess it up i would suggest buying some colors from a good art store nearby or online

Yes, the correct colour is Pullman brown. Humbrol rail colour 415 is Pullman umber brown but I think the UPS Pullman brown is a bit darker

Liam Garrett the basic colors you will need are white, black, light grey and aluminum. Good luck with the build.

Liam Garrett i suggest you to use tamiya white, revell aqua black (maybe mixed with brown), revell enamel 371 (better for airbrush than aqua color), and some revell enamel metallics.
