There has not been one song of theirs I have disliked and that has got to be a first in my 66 years. As they get older their writing and their music just gets better and better. I also read this was Pau's reaction to all the mass shootings that have been happening in the USA. I am not sure if that's true but the words and the mood sure fit in with these sad moments. Great reaction as usual!

Pau writes about 75% of her songs for Dany's voice... She said in one interview that she has to pace herself on stage, ao she can only handle so many vocals. Besides, Dany enjoys playing "rock chick." She's damned good at it.

Pau’s voice is more complex on these new songs, at certain parts she sounds like Dany here (I know Dany signs backup but I’m really referring to Pau’s lead). Previously Pau had a beautiful tone but didn’t have a lot of variety, but she’s clearly been working on different techniques. Here she’s going from almost a juvenile sound to a rich, crunchier sound in the same song, it’s pretty dramatic.

Actually they dropped the full album on the 24th. 14 tracks total. This is what Mayday is a subset of. I suggest the bonus track at the end, Breathe. The album name is ERROR.

Their new LP "ERROR" was released yesterday. They have one official Music Video for it and that is for the title track. It' only on Facebook right now, but will make it to KZbin soon. There are 7 new songs on this LP, and they have included the Mayday songs, with one bonus track called Breathe. Paulina sings lead on 3 of the new songs. Some hard rockers, and some ballads. ALL Are amazing! LP is charting very well world wide!

It’s all in the name of the song. A revenant is a type of ghost; particularly, the ghost of a person wrongfully killed and seeking retribution or vengeance. The woman singing this (Pau), is loading bullets into a gun as she sings this. I know Pau wrote the lyrics to Animosity in response to a bad break-up. She also wrote this. If it’s also about a break-up, Taylor Swift may be in trouble.

II know the classical guitar was good, Pau's vocals were fabulous, but don't forget the mood setting Bass and subtle strumming of Dan's electric guitar. Great composition, beautiful song, but I have no Idea what or who it is about. Revanent means someone who has come back from the dead. So?

But that's Pau singing and not Dany, right? She's got a different voice well suited for more ballad-like songs, as we've heard in the past. I like basically all of the new Warning songs that just dropped, but some of them can feel a bit similar and a tad boring (subjectively to me). So it's really fresh to hear this rather different and interestingly built song from them. They're really creative and skilled, so I hope they continue experimenting and breaking barriers.

I don’t think the other songs sound that similar. As each one came out through Mayday I was always thinking ‘this sounds different from what I’ve heard before.’ But obviously the softer songs are very different than the harder ones. There are some fans I’ve noticed who prefer the hard ones. For myself I don’t have any expectations. If a song is good it’s good, as this one certainly is.
