It ruined the session, tbh. I hope next season, they punish people that not only ignore, but directly go against the rules of the game. His actions gave an unfair advantage, both times he was bogeyman, and especially in this session, meant that none of the non-reds ever needed to worry about their own side. There needs to be penalties in future, for those that don't follow the rules, or it's not fair on those that do. I wish, this session, it had been anyone but him.

The very epitome of the butterfly effect. Because he backstabbed you as the boogieman, all 3 of his deaths were related to you in a way. 1st death was from lizzie blaming him for causing her downfall. 2nd death was from the very chest he put your stuff in when pearl trapped it. She has an “innocent comment” she’s determined for him to hear, and he responded that he regretted not finishing her off from the tower to cure his bogey.

Scar can hold his own, but a combatant he is not, so unfortunately when he went for a fighting kill, that's where he lost his footing. ... Actually, if he hadn't involved himself in that fight, we might've seen him live long enough to see the fruits of his deals and contracts work out for him. Grian, Scott, Etho and Cleo supposedly couldn't have touched him, contractually speaking. If he just didn't go for a battle kill, his strategy probably would've done him really well long term. Well, assuming nothing else wild happened. Maybe we'll see what happened in that version some other season.

Despite the bubblevator working, if Scar realized as he snuck up and placed lava above it, you would have been trapped being pushed into obsidian. Was a risky but effective trick but could have resulted in drowning and not having gotten up to help

It's neat that despite the yellows & greens having more numbers, they're the ones taking defensive position and being picked off when left alone. Meanwhile the reds became more solitary and at last with Grian and Joel becoming the last ones, they decide to scavenge everything quickly and despite only being two, because they're so mobile they caught the yellows in a corner.

No more greens. Honestly I'm a little bit amazed this episode was as tame as it was. Like, stuff happened, but compared to the last couple sessions, this was all fairly by the beat. I was half expecting the reds to just completely go off the rails and for this to be the last session of the series where someone won the crown, but now we're down to the wire with like what - 5 yellow lives and three red? Surely the next session is just going to be IT. Can't wait, and I'm rooting for you Cleo!

As wild as it could've been to see him try to kill someone, an emotional G Club break up works just as well. I like how it turned out, I haven't seen anyone decide to self sacrifice as boogey this series yet so I was glad to finally see what happened when you don't kill as boogey.

What you really don't want to grasp is that it absolutely has to be a bubble-vator. Not only do you arrive at the surface much faster but the fact that it's a bubble-vator rather than just a water column means that you're protected while waiting. Nobody can swim down against the bubbles, keeping you safe from a sneak attack. And the primary goal of the plan was the speed at which you & Etho would deploy from your hiding places. Skepticism and cynicism aren't your friends; they won't help you.

I wonder if making the Boogieman Curse a dark blessing as well would change things like Scott's tactics in this episode. If the boogieman gets a kill, he starts the next session with one more life than he otherwise would, perhaps. Maybe this even can respawn as a red somebody who gets eliminated. Mathematically, though, this does make the purpose of the boogieman less useful, since it leaves the net number of lives in the server constant (barring the boogieman getting himself killed by others in retaliation as he tries to murder). Could make it only a blessing for yellow-life boogiemen? If they end the session with yellow or red or gray life, they gain +1 life at the start of the next session...if they got their boogie kill. The threat of losing 2+ lives is probably enough to motivate green-life boogiemen, as we've seen. It's only Scott being on yellow that caused his tactic to shift.
