I was a fan of Emily and Daniel, but I cried with this ending. I'm totally and completely happy with this ending. I loved this show, even through season 2, which was a bit hard to handle with the introduction of the initiative. My favorite season was probably season 3 with the whole wedding and getting shot on the yacht. I loved how that flash forward left me wanting answers throughout the season. Perfect ending if you ask me. The creators gave the fans a happy ending because they knew they were getting canceled. They could have left it open ended in hopes that they could get picked up somewhere else, but instead they did the fans good.

If the writers really wanted to give a good moral message and make 4 years of the series stand for something they wouldn't have just ended it playing the Cinderella/ happily ever after note. Good TV or movies reflect the reality of life, life isn't fair it isn't all happy and rosy. The White Collar ending was much better written, so much suspense. This was predictable.

This was still a beautifully written finale in my eyes because it wrapped up all the major storylines neatly, which is impressive given that the people working behind this show were only notified of its cancellation after production wrapped up. It also showed that, while life will be unfair at times, one must never lose sight at the possibility of there being a light at the end of the tunnel. Emily knew from the start that by embarking on this journey of revenge, there was a chance that she may have to cross the line at some point and for her to have a future after all of it would be over would be slim to none. In the end, she got extremely lucky and it was all because her father saved her.

When Edmond Dantes returns to Mercedes, it means he abandoned his identity as Count of Monte Cristo to be the man he was in the past. Amanda ceased to be Emily and returned to being the innocent girl of the past.

Jack è stato il suo VERO e UNICO amore della vita. Glielo dice anche Nolan ad un certo punto e l’aveva capito pure Aiden (odioso, personaggio che mi urtava). Daniel non l’ha mai amato e non le piaceva, era fintissima quando stava con lui, zero empatia ma solo recitazione dato che lui era solo parte della sua vendetta (e poi una come lei non avrebbe mai potuto mai innamorarsi veramente di un tipo cosí arrogante, sbruffone e bugiardo). Ergo tranne Jack, David era per finzione e Aiden era solo un ripiego (ricordo a chi ha la memoria corta che già nella prima stagione Amanda stava per andare da Jack a dirgli chi lei fosse e lui le dice che Amanda finta era incinta, cuore spezzato per Amanda. Che poi si rimette 2/3 volte con Aiden dato che Jack era ancora occupato con la francese). Finale PERFETTO perchè il cerchio si chiude, basta vendette, bentornata Amanda!

I just finished Revenge earlier tonight and I loved the finale! Emily aka Amanda was finally vindicated for the fake murder of Victoria which in the end was David killing her! But, finally marring Jack was what I wanted and a great way to end the show! I truly love this show now! Honestly, to me it seemed like the only thing they had in common was the revenging. Don't get me wrong I loved Aiden (as a revenge partner for Emily), but deep down AMANDA has always loved Jack. Even when she was dating Daniel and Jack asked her out she was in tears after she turned him down and in the first episode when she ran into Jack, she looked hurt that she couldn't be with him because it wasn't a part of the plan.

Okey, this goes to all the Jemily haters: you need to read more books, that helps to develop analysis skills. That said I’m going to explain what you should had been able to understand and what the writers and actors have explained so many times before. It was always going to be Amanda and Jack, they made that clear from the very beginning. It wasn’t because they were childhood sweethearts, no! it was because no matter how hard they tried they were never able to stop loving each other: she came back to revenge her father and she tried to stay away from him, but she couldn’t! still she knew she couldn’t be with him and suffered a lot every time she had to rejected him. He fell for her all over again without knowing who she really was, and even when he thought that fauxamanda was Amanda he always knew she was the one. They didn’t fail to make them work after the first season, they always said that they were waiting till the end to have them together: the idea was that they were star-crossed and something always prevented them from being together (first season it was her revenge; second season was carl, third season the fact that he was mad at her). If you pay attention Aiden was always asking her if she loved Jack, they even broke up plenty of times because of that, and he was always trying to get Jack out of the way because he knew Amanda loved him. If you pay attention you will also see that in season 3 she spent a lot of months waiting for Jack to come back, and she only stayed with Aiden once Jack had already pushed her away and proved her he had moved on by dating Margaux. The writers and actors said plenty of times that Aiden was brought into the series to show that her heart was between Daniel or Jack, and that, even though they changed that a little bit because of the actors’ chemistry, Amanda and Jack were going to be endgame anyway. Besides, they didn’t kill Aiden off, they asked Barry how he wanted his character to leave the series and he decided that his character should die. So no, it was not forced; it ended the way they always said it would. And to make that even more clear the show runner said that in the last two episodes they had Amanda say that Jack was always the one: first when she said that she was “4 years too late”, which implies that she wouldn’t have been with any other guy, and then, when she said “you’ve always made me feel safe Jack. I know things got complicated since then with Aiden and Amanda, but I never stop feeling that way when I was around you”. One last thing I’m going to point out is that she was going to kill Victoria because she hurt Jack, but when she killed Aiden she only had her hospitalized.

We all "get" that it was supposed to be Jack and Emily because that's what all tv shows are about these days (light/dark pairings). Though the writers stretched it far beyond for it to harmonize in the end First off) Yes Aiden was supposed to only be a character set to deepen the demily/jemily triangle, but they kept him as a third love interest and developed his and Emilys romance for TWO SEASONS. Emily would've died God knows how many times hadn't it been for Aiden, though I can't say the same about Jack. 2. If Jack had always known that Emily was Amanda, he wouldn't have had to marry another girl and knock her up, and don't come with some "development or poetry" because it's bullshit and borderline classic soapopera quality 3. When the show had gone on for FOUR seasons to milk the dying shit out of this ship, they see the need to kill off everyone who poses as an obstacle to their forced love. They literally fucked hours after finding out a dude who sacrificed himself for their being was killed in the exact same house. 4. Not ONCE did Aiden and Emily break up because of Jack. They first broke up because it was too dangerous for Emily to join Aiden in finding Coleen, they had a fallout in 2x13 about how much they'd let revenge take over their lives, they parted ways in the S2 finale with the intention of Aiden waiting for her as he had finished his revenge and concluded that any remote happiness was with Emily, he later jouned her finishing hers because he loved her so much. They broke up mid season 3 finale because she thought he deserved a better FUTURE than what she THOUGHT she couldn't give him because of Daniel sterilizing her. And that's it, all their "breakups" were in relation to revenge vs their future but not ONCE over Jack. She had to keep Jack at arms length because he couldn't go a second without fucking shit up, (his confrontation with Victoria in S1, his whole reveing in late season 2, his unwillingness to see that Emily had to change her ways - which almost got her killed, not listening to David's instructions about what to do with tje Malcolm Black evidence, that gave Black and upper hand on Emily. And don't you dare defend his actions as being of good intentions, INTENTIONS DOESNT MATTER WHEN YOU CAUSE SO MUCH TROUBLE WHICH YOU BITCH ABOUT NOT ENDING. 5. Her saying Aiden were a distraction is fanservice at best because in NO WAY DO YOU DECLARE IN FRONT IF NATIONAL TV YOUR LOVE FOR SOMEONE IF ALL THEY EVER WAS IS A DISTRACTION FOR YOUR SUPPOSED GREAT LOVE Not to mention that despite everything we heard Emily say she loved AIDEN more than she's ever loved anyone. And why shouldn't she, he was the only one fit for her. He understood her in many ways that Jack couldn't or simply didn't want to because he couldn't stop bitching about how her revenge was so bad for everyone around, even though those same people he pretend to pity wouldn't hesitate one bit to throw him to the wolves. Had Revenge been a 1-season run than I'd avsolutely applaud Jemily from allof my heart. Their dynamic back then is nowhere to be found here. They've lost their spark, because the show got dragged for another 3 seasons as well as infinity times infinty obstacles

So....i just finished up to where, sammy dies, fake amanda comes back pregnant, lydia & victoria get on a plane, that plane crashes with probably no survivors, charlotte takes a bunch of pills, conrad finds an unconscious charlotte. Victoria, Conrad, Nolan, Tyler & Mason....EXCELLENT! i liked it a lot, hope i can find the rest of it....will it be as good? Nice to see a girl with a good sized snawz get the lead role❤

Mashi920 Ok have you not been watching the show from the beginning, because their childhood together is just a small part of their connection together. They didn't get married because of their fake wedding as children, rather they are in love and have gone through the worst losses imaginable and yet have come through the other side with an unconditional love that shows such strength at the sign of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Their chemistry has been intoxicating since the show began because of the side he brought out in Emily and finally the sense of peace and home he brings to her by just being himself and letting her be herself, not to mention that he has loved her at her worst and her best and lets her see a joy filled future. They have shared this passion even when they were fighting, at odds because they could never really let each other go which Aiden and Daniel both noticed at different points in the seasons.

Tara Z Aiden went through allot with her too and helped in a major way in her revenge agenda. Aiden had a similar past with his sister, just like Emily and her dad. There was Chemistry there. I'd say even with Daniel there was more chemistry than with Jack. And life isn't always a rosy happily ever after sailing off to wherever. Ending it that way wasn't communicating a realistic picture in my opinion. Anyways different people, different opinions. :)

Mashi920 Ok, expect Amanda has lost everybody that has ever mattered to her so how is that a rosy happy ending?! Literally, there is her mother, father TWICE, Emily Thorne, Aiden, Ben, Takeda, Daniel (only for this season as he took her chance to have children of her own so that chemistry was a joke after that) but how can she not get happiness after that?! That is too much grief and you wanted her to have more of that kind of pain, when she doesn't deserve it! Did you want her to go off into a hole and die because that is bullshit. Jack has loved her throughout her being Emily, Amanda and honestly, Aiden and Emily were never the happily ever after couple. They were far too damaged separately that they could never realistically survive in the real world without revenge, not to mention that ultimately Emily would have become Amanda again due to her father's survival and Aiden doesn't fit with that concept. He doesn't/can't gel with who Emily really is and who she has always deep down wanted to be, not the way Jack can. That has been made very clear this season, it has always been Jack. He can soothe her demons, be the light that after her father, she never really had. She deserves this because of all the loss, the loss of people, the loss of innocence and the loss of her whole life up to this point. I preferred them even when Aiden was around because I always believed this to be true and it was.

Tara Z But she ended up with, like, two people she cared about still alive! And she fell in love with one of them, since her fiance was murdered and all. And sure, she can never have kids with him like she wanted. But she decided to make the best of it, like everyone in real life has to, so that's a happy fairy tale ending! AH MY GOD!! Nah but really, in real life, people do get away with shit and walk away feeling good. This ending was way more realistic than I expected. I figured she'd end up getting killed, because the cliche unrealistic Hollywood ending to any revenge is for everyone to end up equally fucked over; you need a forced moral to the story, after all, and that moral has to be "revenge is bad, mmkay?!" This ending was good. End of story.

It was always going to be Amanda and Jack, they made that clear from the very beginning. It wasn’t because they were childhood sweethearts, no! it was because no matter how hard they tried they were never able to stop loving each other: she came back to revenge her father and she tried to stay away from him, but she couldn’t! still she knew she couldn’t be with him and suffered a lot every time she had to rejected him. He fell for her all over again without knowing who she really was, and even when he thought that fauxamanda was Amanda he always knew she was the one. They didn’t fail to make them work after the first season, they always said that they were waiting till the end to have them together: the idea was that they were star-crossed and something always prevented them from being together (first season it was her revenge; second season was carl, third season the fact that he was mad at her). If you pay attention Aiden was always asking her if she loved Jack, they even broke up plenty of times because of that, and he was always trying to get Jack out of the way because he knew Amanda loved him. If you pay attention you will also see that in season 3 she spent a lot of months waiting for Jack to come back, and she only stayed with Aiden once Jack had already pushed her away and proved her he had moved on by dating Margaux. The writers and actors said plenty of times that Aiden was brought into the series to show that her heart was between Daniel or Jack, and that, even though they changed that a little bit because of the actors’ chemistry, Amanda and Jack were going to be endgame anyway. Besides, they didn’t kill Aiden off, they asked Barry how he wanted his character to leave the series and he decided that his character should die. So no, it was not forced; it ended the way they always said it would. And to make that even more clear the show runner said that in the last two episodes they had Amanda say that Jack was always the one: first when she said that she was “4 years too late”, which implies that she wouldn’t have been with any other guy, and then, when she said “you’ve always made me feel safe Jack. I know things got complicated since then with Aiden and Amanda, but I never stop feeling that way when I was around you”. One last thing I’m going to point out is that she was going to kill Victoria because she hurt Jack, but when she killed Aiden she only had her hospitalized.

This was a nice scene but the emotional payoff would have been bigger if they at least dated for a while. We never really saw how they turn their childhood and adult friendship into a working adult relationship. That's why I liked Aiden & Emily better, because we saw how they work as a couple, both their highs and lows. I also felt more chemistry from them.

honestly I stopped watching this show in season 3 because I just thought they dragged too long and her dad coming back made the plot lose its point entirely. BUT I thought they pushed Aiden and Emily just for drama because since first season it was obvious the end game was going to be Jack and Emily. I love how it ended 👌that's how u end a night time soap opera and the fact David KILLED Victoria instead of Amanda A+ And Amanda and Jack got married 😁as a revenge fan, I'm satisfied but a part of me wishes some how. Amanda Clark and Daniel Grayson got together for the ending of the series they had more chemistry and everybody was wishing she be with Daniel even though his parents ruined her family life. But oh well this ending was awesome.

So happy for them. I was always rooting for aiden and emily but when he died i knew that it was also because otherwise she never could've have her happy ending with jack, because she genuinely loved aiden. Death was the only way to break them up. I'm glad that they finally remembered aiden a little in 4x19 in her interview and with the flashbacks. Long overdue.. And it's good to see that she still wears Aidens Engagement ring.. Sort of a sign for having had to great loves in her life
