100%. David put himself and his precious Amanda on the radar of scumbags like Conrad and Victoria. While I feel sorry for Victoria because she likely never had a chance between her mother, Conrad et al..., Victoria ultimately dug her own grave when she mistreated the innocent little girl Amanda Clarke, and threw her to the wolves because Amanda was NOT HER child. David set the whole tragedy in motion at least for himself and Amanda. Conrad was and always would be scumbag David Clarke making sweaty with Victoria or not!

This would've been avoided if: 1. David sent Kara, his real wife to rehab after she tried to drown their daughter 2. Victoria stayed in Paris for the rest of her life and married Pascal 3. Victoria and Conrad never married and Conrad is married happily with Stevie 4. David never works with The Graysons 5. Victoria's mom threat her well instead raising her daughter as a selfish manipulative whore like her 6. David and Victoria never had an affair 7. Conrad and Victoria have good marriage 8. Charlotte is a Grayson, not a Clarke since she and Conrad had good bond before 9. Daniel is a succesful poet like he's always dreamt of 10. Amanda had a good childhood and The Clarkes is happily ever after

I think if Emily had died in this scene, she still would've won.. Because Victoria would've died alone (which was her biggest fear) and Emily would've died with her Dad whom she loves and he loves her. So either way it went, Emily would've still had her revenge and victory... :)

It’s kinda old now but still disappointed that Emily didn’t just died right there because it would have follow the series’s lesson from the beginning perfectly : that revenge leads nowhere and if you follow that path digs two grave. I always took this sentence as a warning that Emily might not make it at the end of her journey

I agreed. It would be a poetic justice that Emily and Victoria died together. But two graves is also perfect for David and Victoria, they brought the problems in The Hamptons in the beginning because of their affair and they both die as the punishment. But, It also perfect for Victoria and Conrad, they made David's lives miserable and they died on his hands.

While Emily Thorne was NO ANGEL, I fail to see how people can legitimately vilify her in comparison to Victoria, Conrad, and Margaux. All three of them hired people to do harm to others. And two of them (Victoria and Conrad) got their hands personally dirty in killing people. The latest being Conrad pushing Pascal into the helicopter blades and Victoria killing Aiden and then staging his body in Emily's living room for Emily to find.

That is ALL I’m saying! Like, don’t sugarcoat what Emily did, but damn she isn’t the antichrist the way a lot of people looking back on the show are making her out to be. She’s a perfect anti-hero, NOT a villain. And to be completely honest, the reason I’m okay with a lot of what she did is because for most of the seasons she was operating under the impression that everything these people had done, (turned her devoted father into a mass-murdering terrorist, brainwashed his child to hate him then shuffled her into abusive homes, and left David to die alone/forgotten/and seemingly unloved) led to the entire erasure of a father that she loved above all others and the destruction of her family. They didn’t just frame David Clarke, they happily tossed his child to the wolves with very little care or thought of the consequences. And I think part of Victoria always resented that she’d never truly come first in her love affairs, but particularly with David where she arguably seemed the most “in love”. Conrad had power, David had Amanda, and even Pascal had his own daughter. I don’t know maybe I’m just spiteful, but I cheered Emily on the ENTIRE series and continued to do so until the bitter end. Emily has her sins, but Victoria, the Graysons, and everyone who knowingly had a hand in David and Amanda’s fate deserved what they got. Only thing I would have done differently was kept David Clarke dead, because as beautiful as it was to see them reunited it sort of trivialized a lot of the actions Emily took to honor him. And maybe found a way to have Aiden/Emily be endgame. I said what I said.

In Season 4, both of Amanda and Victoria are becoming pathetic cowards. Amanda decided to keep the name of Emily Thorne forever because she feels like Amanda Clarke is dead a long time ago while in fact she sacrificed her 2 best friends, Jack and Nolan to get their reputation ruined by public especially to Nolan instead of her taking responsibility and announcing her true self a.s.a.p. She needs to stop playing secrets and just tell the truth of how much hurt she is towards of her childhood being the daughter of "terrorist". Same as Victoria, she just couldn't admit that she lose to the Clarkes. She manipulated 2 spoiled rich kids, Margo and Louise as her new daughters since her own daughter, Charlotte has done with her. And orchestrated her own death instead and made Amanda as her killer. Why can't these two apologize to each other? Even though Vicky has done with David, she should has done with Amanda too. She is so childish to not admit that she is lose and take responsibility of everything because she has caused a lot of people lose their relatives because of her selfish manipulated attitude. These 2 women are real trouble in South Hamptons and I think these 2 deserved to die together as poetic justice. What goes around, comes around.

Don't play secrets for so long. Just be yourself and be honest. 6. Don't sleep with your boss' wife or else your daughter turns to be a sociopath 7. Don't trust a woman who has 3 children from 3 *different* men 8. Don't launder your money to terrorists And most importantly: If you don't want children, always use condom.
