Viy has been watching over and protecting Kadoc ever since Anastasia had died. In the beginning prologue of LB2 before Kirei attacks and brings Kadoc to Wodime, Kadoc's handcuffs and bonds were frozen over and shattered. Any chill and cold air that only Kadoc experiences is from Viy and Anastasia Yeah it's the fact that her revenge, and her wanting the revenge for the death of her husband all being entirely for nothing, that Kriemhild cannot manifest as an Avenger. An Avenger must feel that there IS a point for wanting revenge on something. But because Siegfried himself arranged and planned for his own death....well....yeah. Everything Kriemhild had done was completely pointless. It's a thing that married couple heroic spirits who have a tragic love life are extremely incompatible as a team, listing Sigurd/Brynhildr, and Siegfried/Kriemhild as examples. As servants, their lores and stories can be used against them in this manner. Balmung is both a holy sword and a demonic sword. It's shape and appearance is highly dependent on it's user, so if either Siegfried or Kriemhild duel-wielded the Balmungs, they would just take the shape that the first one they wielded already Summer Skaid is a great Quick AND Buster and Buster Crit support. She's honestly amazing as an offensive support. ALL of Anastasia's power and abilities come directly from Viy itself, she's just the one who formed a contract with Viy and without it, she cannot fight...at all Hagen IS a man. The woman that Kriemhild was talking about, was Brunhilde. A woman that SIegfried.."bested" against her will, so that he could make her marry Gunther, Kriemhild's brother, and a king that Siegfried loyally served. The reason Siegfried volunteered to die at all was because Brunhilde got into a fight with Kriemhild, where Kriemhild humiliated Brunhilde's pride, and threatened to cause an all-out war unless someone was sacrificed to appease her. So yes Kriemhild was responsible for her own husband's death I beat both Siegfried and Kriemhild in one turn using a souped up Buster brave chain with Sigurd, Koyanskaya of Light, and Oberon. Yes I intentionally used Sigurd lol

Wow, I don't remember the LB2 Viy thing at all. I just remembered it as all Kirei. That's actually really cool. It's such a shame they didn't keep Viy around for LB7, I really like the dynamic between her and Kadoc. I find all the Siegfreid/Sigurd lore to be some of the hardest to remember right. I'm passingly familiar with Sigurd's mythology, and always confuse his lore with Siegfried's. It really doesn't help that Siegfried was basically a Sigurd stand-in in a couple events/interludes before LB2 came out. Summer Skadi's great though. I managed to roll her, but haven't managed to use her much since I go a shiny new Koyanskaya of Light a little afterwards to just make Morgan or Arcuied mow through everything.

@@HorseyEatYou Yeah don't worry about Viy/Anastasia lol Sigurd and Siegfried are VERY similar in their legends with very few differences. Sigurd's story is definitely older, and had the original Fafnir, since he used to be a dwarf that turned into a dragon due to his overwhelming greed. Well Fafnir is a weird dragon in that anyone can turn into a Fafnir due to the amount of greed. It's ironic that Sigurd feels envy about Siegfried having Armor of Fafnir, despite the fact that Sigurd actually has higher parameters in regards to Strength, Endurance, and NP lol And yeah that's fair. But Summer Skadi really has been extremely useful with her Quick and Buster skills, while unintentional when I used them together, but her buffs SERIOUSLY let Sigurd straight-up delete health bars with his Buster crits. So she definitely can help with Buster teams
