Instead of waiting for the last day, I’d like to say this now. We are sad to see this great series coming to an end. The last few weeks have been a joy to watch, looking forward to each episode. What a super super account of your trip!! If there are awards given for such things, I’d like to nominate you for it. Seen many accounts of New England/ New York hiking trips and this is easily the best of all in my opinion. Thank you, Tom, Day1 through 22 are permanently archived to watch many more times.

Thank you for saying that. It means a lot to know people have enjoyed it so much! With the bitter sweetness of its coming to its end, there’s also lots more to look forward to! And I’ll definitely be putting out similar series in the future. Thanks for following along 🙂

Woot woot!! Big shout out from my boy Thomas!! Dude, I was on top of Smugs in the ski patrol shack during that storm, then over to Mansfield the next day… that rain was no joke!!

Wow that must have been quite a time over there. Climbing Mansfield in the rain must have been crazy!

I don’t know how tall you are but those long legs of yours are quite athletic. You have great endurance too and a will to conquer that wins. Respect, man!👍🏻

Day 21 looked rather brutal at times, but you pushed through, Thomas.👍

Another excellent vlog. Thank you and belated merry Christmas from CT. I hiked over Jay Peak the following day. The wind gusts were over 50 mph in the pelting rain. I rested in the warming room for about 20 minutes before coming down the steep north face. I had to use GPS to get back on trail from Shooting Star. I'm guessing someone took down the trail sign there, so I sent an email to GMC asking them to replace it. I hope they did. 😊

Thank you, merry Christmas and happy new year! Thankfully the rain held off, but the winds were something similar to that!

Congratulations. I stayed at Shooting Star, a nice finale to the trail! The water source was a bit yucky, but it beats being thirsty! lol! That last 4 are awesome!!

Was it the pump? It tasted so bad I couldn’t stand it without some electrolytes for flavor hahah

@ it’s the ground itself. Eventually it will clear up some.

@@ralphjesseman6562 gotcha. Definitely one of the worst ones that I encountered on the trail
