Frenkie definitely playing within himself. But it’s normal when you have injured the same ankle multiple times. He needs time to regain confidence in his ankle and regain his fitness. He needs to work on his accuracy & quick one touch passing, be very aware and try to not invite tackles at the moment. Sad to say but he should watch the Bayern and Real Madrid games from the bench if he’s not confident in his ankle.

Also, playing him means that Barcelona can't use the offside trap that they have mastered because it takes high IQ football players who have chemistry. In conclusion, aurajo's strength is not enough for him to replace either inigo or curbasi

@@edsonmawalla4203 We can't judge him as we haven't seen him under flick. Inigo was shaky last season in some instances (Napoli). Araujo's passing improved but it's not improved nearly enough to play under pressure. But I think he'll benefit from Flick's system with the 2 double pivots.

He lacks the football IQ that curbasi and inigo possess. While it is true that he could improve under flick but those three things will not change, aurajo cannot remove either inigo or curbasi because of the things that I have mentioned above.

@@hamzazmamri5027 nope, replace Araujo with Tah and Frenkie with Kimmich - if this isn’t a like-for-like replacement in terms of playing style, it’s very close. Based on the team‘s current fluidity and performance, Araujo and Frenkie may not be/shoudn‘t be made starters. These two free agents don’t have to be starters either but good squad players for rotation. Also, take into account the questionable attitude/loyalty of both Araujo and Frenkie, fitness issues as well as their high salary demands!
