Nice Video Demo..are it work on binaural renderer?
@AudioBrewers2 жыл бұрын
Of course, because youa re working in Ambisonics, when you use the decoder included in Nuendo / Cubase Pro, you can decode to Binaural!
@esonicsound Жыл бұрын
@@AudioBrewers But you didn't use Binaural to show us the results, you used Stereo...I'm confused.
@AudioBrewers Жыл бұрын
@@esonicsound It's difficult to choose the output of a video that is going to KZbin - Binaural doesn't really sound good on stereo arrays, whereas stereo sounds fine in Headphones, this is why we chose Stereo over Binaural, don't really know what setup a viewer has, so we had to choose the "default" one. But we'll take your comment into account and make sure next time we also make a binaural test, even if for a bit! :)

Who's the woman whose voice you used, or is it a sample library? She has an amazing voice.

Hi Alejandro, in order to get your reverb to follow the panning of the object did you have to Link the panners in Cubase or Nuendo? What I mean is the Send panner linked to the channel panner of the object.
@AudioBrewers Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Actually I have all send Panners always linked by default (makes more sense to me). In Preferences -> VST -> Link Panners for New Tracks, that way next time you send, panners will be linked, and your sends will be spatially aware!

jmust out of curiosity does most or all of the nuendo dolby atmos stuff transfer directly for cubase 12 pro ??
@AudioBrewers Жыл бұрын
In theory, yes. I use Nuendo exclusively and although I know some features in cubase pro are missing, I'd say most (if not all) of this info transfers

Very interesting reverb! But I have to ask, isn't that chair headrest affecting your ability to hear your rear speakers? Also, how do you feel the Cubase/Nuendo panner performs with Atmos and Ambisonics? I have heard several opinions that some 3rd party panners are better.
@AudioBrewers Жыл бұрын
When we're talking about panning sends, nothing beats the "link panner" function of Steinberg's, where you don't have to worry about panning your sends because they follow the main panning of your track. When it comes to decoding Ambisonics, I've been told by many people 'ab Decoder HOA' has much more presence and spatial clarity Reg. the chair I don't feel it affects me :)
@Avaruuskettu Жыл бұрын
@@AudioBrewers I didn't even think about the possibility that using 3rd party panners would cripple that awesome functionality. 😳 Thanks, I'll check the ab's panner out! I have a problem with just my stereo speakers where my headrest causes comb filtering with some higher pitched sounds. I'm just upgrading to Atmos so I need to evaluate my chair with rear speakers later.
