The woman who used to live in my apartment got this crap. The reason why I know is that it kept (and keeps) coming despite me writing back saying "no longer lives here." Still addressed to her and everything. Seeing this makes me want to open the letters and read this crap that they are shilling. Love how they spelled out ladies with a dash between every letter a few times as if to say "and don't you dare think its a men's handkerchief." Please let us know Mike if you get a response after giving them that wonderful "donation."

She's made fun of cripples and is aware that Peter Popoff has a bad case of Jungle Fever toward his audience members, but has yet to divorce him. There was this movie called Leap of Faith where Steve Martin played a faith healer based on Peter Popoff, who gains a conscience after the town's sheriff played by Liam Neeson, exposes Steve Martin by announcing the results of the background check he did. I think if someone is able to do a similar background check on Peter Popoff, we'd get the same results Liam Neeson's character in Leap of Faith got.

matthew bryant My point is that in Leap of Faith Liam Neeson's background check of Steve Martin proved that Steve Martin isn't an ordained minister, he grew up lying and cheating for most of his life and the closest thing to a church he's ever been to was the orphanage he was abandoned at. I believe Peter Popoff has a similar past.

Since he left out the letter, I'm not sure he'll get a response. But maybe that's the test, to see if they're just checking envelopes. Though, yeah, the ketchup has a good chance of getting the letter rejected completely. It was a good idea, but I think it would have been better to dip something in the ketchup and write with it. Or at least use a baggie.

Mike, he actually mentioned the 191,11 pounds (to sow a seed) on page 3, because Mr. Popoff (actually a good russian name, only then he would probably be written as Popov). And he wanted you to "print a name of someone else whom you really love", it is also somewhere in the letter. But hey: In Germany we say: "Dear Lord, please throw brains from the sky, or stones: the main thing is that you strike!" Seriously, waht kind of people are writing this? What went wrong? And: If people seriously reply to him (as we saw it in the movie "Religulous" there are people who do so), why the hell are they sending him a huge amount of money, him, a guy they never met or don't even knew his existance? It's beyond me.

He had an earpiece that someone told James Randi about an he got a scan by an investigator to scan for. Nothing until the famous line came out and he declared bankruptcy the next day having pocketed £3m from £23m subscriptions to his supposed church. Apparently according to a news exposee he isn't even ordained. Like what you did with the nasty hanky chief.
