As a "former" conservative who has been educated in the TRUTH of the real history of our country and its two political parties, I completely agree with everything that Rev. Barber is saying. I am very afraid that all his words will go in one of Rodham's ears and right out the other. I don't think that she gives a damn about poor people, or even the remaining individuals in the American middle class...only fellow rich persons such as herself and her husband...

it's racist to say he was brown skinned. Many Jews had fair skin, red hair and blue eyes. All that we know is that HE was Jewish. To say "brown skinned" is to say HE was brown,black = racism. Also, He was not a Palestinian, that is false doctrine, just saying y'all!! "Ye shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall set you free".

:D Oh where to start. Obviously a very well spoken man, as the son of a preacher, I can say that he does his profession justice. Very good speech, very motivational, with the Southern African American church feel to it, I live in Texas so I see this at least once a week. But to preach one thing (or against something) while using rhetoric that accomplishes the very thing you are preaching against, my goodness, this guy is good! The plethora of twisted erroneous lines like "I am theologically conservative liberal evangelical biblicist". Even if you explain what you mean by that it doesn't change the fact that the initial phrase is logically flawed on at least 3 different levels. The cherry picking of verses completely taken out of context to serve (in this case) Bernie's social welfare presidential campaign. If he wasn't dressed like a preacher I would have thought he was just some atheist who wanted to see how well he could defend Christianity and supports Bernie Sanders. "worried about how some people are so worried about what God says so little about but care so little about what God says so much about" yes, yes, well said, typical human hypocrisy, both parties have it, all races have it, both genders have it and it's a fantastic point with which I fully agree. However, as a self-proclaimed "theological conservative" with a doctorate, he ought to care just as deeply for the parts of the Bible that "God talks so little about" as much as he does for the parts he talks so much about, after all, that is essentially theological conservatism ( along with "holding to the deep values that we ought to 'do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God'". Choosing which parts of the Bible to care more about depending on the situation - or current political affiliation - can be translated as the modern liberal evangelical, which apparently he is that as well. Objectively, the man does a fantastic job, I could learn a lot from his skill and use of words. And before I get a bunch of negative comments and dislikes, his overall message did not go pass me ( the example of the heart was brilliant!) but how can you go up there, claim to be speaking strictly as a preacher and then present Hillary as the moral spearhead of the nation? Preachers ought to be good judges of character and moral examples and not even CNN can defend Hillary. And before some of you tell me to "think beyond politics and look at the bigger picture" and etc, his message is absolutely more political than it is about the supposed moral reconstruction of America. If it wasn't then he should have started with intraracial crimes within our race in America, and then the intra-party crimes in the Democratic party and then on to the nation. This is also known in church as removing the log from one's own eye, any preacher would know this. Queue the negative replies and dislikes...

***(Listen Up All You Hard-Hearted Haters)*** "We have a heart problem in America." "This prayer/speech" is precisely (why) I, am a very proud and lifelong voting and volunteering Democrat. Listen closely. You may just learn something of great importance. -oO (

God wants preachers to preach the truth, not lies that say God is fine with homosexuality and abortion. (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26, Proverbs 6:16,17). God never wanted preachers to use His Word for worldly political gain. But if you don't know your Bible you can't know the difference between true and false preachers like this one, who just wants your political approval. May God help us and may we READ our Bibles to protect ourselves from deceivers.
@KellyJK078 жыл бұрын
When religious conviction is a defense of abortion-then he is quite deceived.
@jsphotos8 жыл бұрын
There is not one word in the Christian Bible that condemns abortion as murder, nor did Jesus speak on the topic. In fact, those who make their anti-abortion claims as the "word of God" are apostate, given the foregoing facts.

I hope Barber the First was better. What he isn't saying, is his 501c3 not only puts faith in the Gov't in liu of Jesus, but he is "prohibited" from speaking against Govt.
@ReflectiveMethodology8 жыл бұрын
you realize every speaker from the remembrance project, at the rnc, broke the rules of the 501c3. the fec and others have never enforced these, but the left, like sanders and jill stein have been pushing to make that a reality. both the corporate right and left though have been working against that.
@thechannel54717 жыл бұрын
Sounds good to man, tickles their ears, I would be more concerned with what the Heavenly Father thinks. Democratic platform stands for abortion, no man of God can support this. What will you say on that day when you stand before Him? To all that hate what I'm saying, what will you say on that day?
