A powerful and helpful, encouraging word from the WOG. If there is a giant (challenge, hindrance, stronghold) ahead of you, there is a giant killer inside of you. Secrets learned from the life of David, the giant killer 1. He was confident and courageous 2. Be a man or a woman of faith. Let your faith be bigger than your fear. 3. Know how to handle criticism. Be selective in your hearing. You need to know how to handle criticism (don't let it get to your heart) and how to handle praises (don't let it get to your head). Your destiny is not tied to your critics. 4. Remember past victories and what God has done for you. If God has done it for you before he will do it for you again. If he has rescued you before he can do it again. If God made a way before he can do it again. 5. When you are facing Goliath in your life remember the battle belongs to the Lord. Philippians 2:10 (At the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, on earth and under the earth). Any battle we have been fighting in the flesh we put it in the hand of the Lord. Any battle you have been fighting, commit it in the hand of the Lord. 6. Do not give up. No matter what, get up, dress up, show up and never give up. Giant killers don't give up. Though a righteous man may fall down 7 times he will rise again (Proverbs 24:16). No matter how long you've been waiting on God, don't give up. Why does God allow us to face Goliath's in our lives? It is not to demote you but to promote you. It is not to destroy you but to promote you. Nobody knew who David was until he killed Goliath. Let your haters become your motivators. And God prepares a table for me in the presence of mine enemies. My cup runneth over. That means the enemy must be there to see it. Your enemies will push you to your promotion, to your victory. >>We are not victims. We are victors. Lord give us the heart of a champion, the mind of an overcomer and the spirit of a conqueror. Amen.
