That's such a useful tip to mention that as long as you're near one line (the one closest to you), you don't have to worry about the other one because the car is a fixed width

I'm still 13 and far from going to a driving test, but with my dad in empty or places with little amounts of cars I practice driving. I learned a lot also from these videos when I have questions about something or just need more tips, hopefully will do good on my future driving test. Great videos and useful tips overall 😁

4:12 I've heard this tip elsewhere advising that it can change from car to car, but of all the reference points in a car, this is the one that varies not that much from car to car. I always impressed when I align it this way, there's a consistent gap between the front of the car and the front of the bay.

This is the easiest method. And this is how I park in reverse. Thank you for this.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for your channel as the videos have really helped me pass my driving test FIRST TIME on Monday with 3 minors, even though I drive automatic! These videos are beyond useful and helpful, which is always my favourite videos to watch even though I’ve passed 😂 I will sure share this channel with my brother who will be learning to drive soon and more friends and family. Again thank you so much! ☺️

If you slightly go over that white line as you’re reversing in but when you’ve parked you’re within the white line , would that be a fail ?

Very educative illustration of how to reverse using the side mirrors. It is very helpful indeed! You should also do a video on how to change lanes using the rear view mirror instead of the side mirrors. I understand there are drivers who prefer using the rear view mirror to change lanes or to over take!

This is pretty amazing. I've had my license for over 10 years and never did any kind of reverse parking since my driving test. Why? Because reference points are pretty useless once you start driving a different car. It was made worse by the fact I never owned my own car until recently, so I was always driving different cars.

So for my test I don’t need to do the 3 line rule for reverse bay parking. I much prefer doing this whenever I have to park and the 3 line rule doesn’t work for the car I use.

Do you have a video which does use references since my instructor's car is also a Ford Puma?

Never used reference points in my live. Csn jump unto any csr and park simply as i look where im going and let it dictate the steering

If you open the door to check if your in the lines/for adjustments do you need to turn the engine pff completely?
@worlddriving Жыл бұрын
No, you don't need to switch off the car but make sure you apply the handbrake and select neutral before opening the door :)
