Thanks for the video. I am about to do the same thing and was planning on running the wires on the floor. But i like how easy it was running the wire by the headliner.

Its a small gauge wire so easy to run. I would only recommend keeping the connector for the camera in an accessible location if the camera breaks.

Great video. Do you have a picture of the final product on how the back up camera is mounted?

No sorry, but I did use a packer (Rubber 10MM or it would have been obstructed) between the camera and body of the Landcruiser, Was a cheap $20 camera that worked well and was heavy made from an alloy not plastic junk.

Question after it’s hooked up in the radio, I ran all the wires to the back drilled a small hole place the camera in over license plate the little wire to the camera I plugged into the harness then there’s a yellow plug-in cable I hooked up the reverse to the reverse light on the back of the car with the ground separate of course then up by the yellow connection is it extra red wire? I just taped it off not sure where that goes but my issue is I manually have to put the camera on through the radio receiver for the back up camera to work so I’m thinking it’s something to do with that red wire just not sure, hope you understand what I’m asking. Thank you.

Back of the head unit yellow connector red wire is the trigger to engage to reverse camera. Needs to be connected to the correct reverse signal wire from the headunits harness plug. Easy fix.

G'day I just installed my DMX1025BT with my reverse camera, anyone have any idea how to setup the guidelines? If i go into the setup it says no signal (because not in reverse to power it up I assume) But when I go into reverse the reverse camera comes up and I cant get into any menus to go into guideline setup?

Settings, System, scroll down once, Camera In put to rear camera (press the right arrow). Does the car in reverse show an image at all?

@@precisionknights2620 Yeah parking guidelines are on, REAR AV IN set to AV-in, camera in set 6o rear camera. If I go in reverse it shows the reverse camera and all works. Only when I go to guidelines setup just says no signal
