Indians have immigrated in such large amounts to Australia that even the Australians and other immigrant communities in Australia r fearing for their jobs, individuality and lack of freedom because of Indians. There r talks to create "another India" or "to replace the Australian flag with the Indian flag". Indians have inflated the Australian job market so much that the Australian govt. is finding it hard to ease the interests of their own people + other immigrant communities. It's not that India is a bad country. India is booming with rapid infrastructure development rn. I m sure my country will do great in the future. Those r fools who have migrated to Australia and r now creating difficulties for our fellow Australians. I scored 7 bands in IELTS, but I dropped the decision to come to Australia on a student visa. I decided to keep on living in my own country.

Today, while doing Uber, an Indian man harassed me to avoid operating in the area where he works. Many scammers from my country Brasil attempt to take advantage of me. When I visit beaches with immigrant communities, there's garbage everywhere. So, I find it challenging to disagree with Australians when they express reluctance toward more immigrants. I have completed 30 years now in Australia. It’s a fact that for most Indian immigrants, body is here but soul will be always wandering in India. In 2023, if I were to decide about migrating to any other country from India, in my opinion, there is no other country that matches homeland. Mother and motherland are greater than heaven. If you get good income and work life social quality, forget about migration to any country on earth. Those sacrifices we made living away from home land aren’t that worth.

@shanemadhwan3190 Firstly I am 100% Apolitical and secondly I have no intentions of any business opportunities in Fiji . just for lifestyle and cost living, family connections and general feelings of being Home.Migration has contributed significantly to Australia and will always do ,but Australia's policies in terms of managing infrastructure, especially housing transportation and attracting migrants to Regional Australia is not thought out properly, this is just my opinion. Hmm!!! I don't agree with you. I don't know whether people are getting back to India or not (I doubt they are). But In India, the situation is far worse. There is no work life balance and quality of life is far worsed compared to USA/Canada/Australia etc. India is not progressing economically as it should be (just look at china.....it developed soo much in past 30 years) and the population of India is growing in exponential rate. Not to mention the amount of damage all the extra people does to our already strained environment. I don't hate Indians but I think that we need to be careful how many we allow in. The people still coming here are desparate. REALLY desparate. (or they have family). For the people with decent skills it's not worth it. Cost of living is not in line with inflation. STEM based jobs are terrible and pay a fraction compared to other countries. People doing manual labour in many cases make more money. Housing market is starting to go bonkers because of corrupt politicians with multiple investment properties manipulating laws to increase prices of houses. People can barely buy houses and rents are high. There are nurses and other professionals LIVING IN TENTS because of how bad housing supply is.... on that front, it's even worse than India...where if you atleast have middle class money you can still get a place to live...INSTEAD OF A TENT. Crime is rising because of broken laws where criminals are released multiple times on bail. Also because there is a growing drug epidemic and bad mental health. Turn on the news, even today there were multiple knife attacks in Melbourne. There's also growing number of home invasions and car jackings.... Racism is still live and well. I was walking through the mall and some 12 yo boy did an apu accent. A literal kid.... There are 100x worse violent incidents too. Public transport is crumbling with the weight of population growth. Locals are hostile towards migrants because of said growth and the struggling housing market, with the media putting blame mostly on migrants instead of corrupt politicans. The list goes on and on, and I would not raise a family here. Especially when there are other countries offering to pay me more and there are more options if I want to stop working and start my own business. This place was only good if you came here 10-20 years ago.

High migration caused the problem in the first place. It caused the cost of living crises. Housing crises and inflation driving up property market. Doctors shortage as too many people comming in and surtain sections off employment not getting field. Many migrants are getting low paid transport and supermarkets positions. And not as many in the skilled positions. Has caused a lot of unemployment. Having a woke government and business people who don't like to pay. They all use people like slave to their system. In India especially Bengaluru the quality of life is getting bad due to shortage of water. The burgeoning population in India is threat to the quality of life. The cities in India are congested and there is absolute lack of Urban planning and haphazard growth of cities. My honest assessment. Small towns in India seem to be better. India needs to curb petty corruption, pollution and curb the population growth. The Modi government is doing its best to improve the infrastructure in India but growing population is hindering the economic growth of India and making the quality of life poor for an average Indian. The electricity infrastructure seems to be improving as there seems to be less power cuts but water is a challenge.

Thanks for the video. I don't totally agree. Admit, there are some issues here and everyone blames the government, but the government has a tough job to administer the country and keep everyone happy. India is still very behind. The press makes out that the economy is booming but every time I go to India, at least a dozen people ask me to take them back to Australia. I see a lot of people on the street begging. There is a lot of bribery and poverty there. If you are a superior class or have some money, then it is ok to live in India,I guess. I was born in India and migrated to Australia in 1969. Remember, when one truly migrates to another country, then it means that the new country becomes your new home. You have to learn to take the bad with the good. There should't be talk about "back home" because this is home. Its all in the mind. Don't migrate if you have that attitude. Anyway, I guess you have your opinion and I have mine. So, that's cool!!

Yes you can open a bank account if you are physically present in Australia. And the American license is valid here if you are in tourist visa. You can even get the local license here for long term use through translation, you don’t need to take a physical driving test with your American license is my understanding.

Please stay, beautiful Indian people. I had a life threatening illness last year and in hospital, one of my nurses was Indian and I had two Indian surgeons. I get emotional thinking about how devoted they were to me. And of course, Australians and Indians love cricket. At the Bradman Museum at Bowral a decade ago I had a picnic on the grass with my aged mother. Settled next to us on a blanket was a young Indian family that adored Sir Donald Bradman from afar when back home in India and made something of a pilgrimage to the ground where his a career began. Their love for Sir Donald grew into a love for their new home in Australia. How could we not love them in return?

Australia is good for either poor or very rich people - the poor live off government handouts and rich have organised to be self reliant - it’s the middle income group that suffers the most they work hard pay high taxes and get very little benefit from the government as they aren’t poor enough- if you are well settled in India or any other country stay there and make the most with your own family- not worth migrating specially to Australia and lastly Australia is one of the highest taxed country with a high rate of crime due to a weak legal system

once upon a time our country here was the lucky country that offered immigrants a way to make money live safely and afford their own home but not now ok. We are no longer that country. Although we are a big country 55% of the country is owned by the 350 Aboriginal groups in the country plus the rest is either flood plains, dry desert or the green edge of the country this means that when most go to cities its over populated and now impossible to find the money to buy a house even to get rental properties which have gone sky high its really terrrible we have homeless first time families living in tents and on streets not enough houses built. So as much many of us love Indian people I advice you if you can live ok in India stay because you will have very hard time here plus in Sydney Melbourne and other cities and suburbs are being put under stress from gangs of young people who attack with machete or guns and the lawlessness is getting worse so stay with motherland if you can. But do come to visit ..My husband and I actually moved off the mainland during covid to our Island state Tasmania it does offer work here for farming and fruit picking agriculture but still can be hard to find accomodation.
