Yes, you are allowed to look the reverse camera. But you should not stare at the camera and miss viewing the surrounding. When driving in reverse, you always have the least priority. So if there is any movement around the car (be it humans or other vehicle), you need to stop and let them pass. In order to do this, you need to be aware of your surroundings all the time by looking at your mirrors and blind spots. In the FAQ part of the trafficverket link I pasted below, you can see a response for this exact question (I copied the question and response below) : www.trafikverket.se/en/start/driving-licence/obtaining-a-swedish-driving-licence/passenger-car-and-light-lorry/what-will-happen-during-the-driving-test/ Questing: Am I allowed to a reversing camera if available? Answer: Yes, you are allowed to use technical aids available in the car during your driving test. The camera should be viewed as a complement to your other checks. One tip, therefore, is to practise reversing both with and without it. In your test, you must be able to show that you are aware of your surroundings and that you are in control of the situation.
