I think summon time would reduce the delay between your units, the reason your liches didn't work very well is because they were solo, you need to have them grouped with your other guys to speed all of them up, and reduced summon delay would help that

So, uhh... Maybe people already told you, but summoning time is the time it takes from the unit before to this one getting on the field. More summoning time = units take longer to appear = less people together = less strength in numbers. You really should at the very least use your extra resources for summoning time xD

oh, i just remembered an old Flash game called "Villainous". it's also sort of an anti-TD game, but you only send one team of powerful units, which includes Healers, Shielders, Tanks, and some others I can't remember.

Your horde units are the slowest so you should put them first so that the faster units can run among them to avoid taking more damage. The first few levels pretty much taught you that.
