Now I am considering Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 i5-13500HX variant with 4050. It is a bit weaker for gaming than Asus TUF F15, but it comes with better display, ddr5 RAM, more ports and better thermals. I think it will serve me good for programming and casual gaming. What are your thoughts? And also thank you for another detailed review 😄

Thankyou 😊 If you're going for only casual gaming than RTX 4050 will server the purpose (dont expect ultra on all games). check and compare technical specs like RT core, memory bus, shaders of rtx 4050

@@altecgide7837High settings with DLSS on frame generation will serve the purpose pretty good and 16 inch display with 16:10 aspect ratio will help to adjust more code into the frame with multiple windows. Only downside I see is it's weight of 2.6kg 🙂

Progrqmming ! Might want to consider its weight too, btw i find it too heavy , get to some nearby stores before buying , and ddr5 is no big deal , and its display is too good but i dont think we need more 300 nits

I have not experienced these issues so far that you have mentioned except for heating that also occasionally during heavy gaming in turbo mode.temperature would go some time 95 degree in heavy load for 1 to 2 sec. This is normal I believe in full powered gaming laptop.use cooling pad in this case

It will last max of 4 hours with normal use in silent profile at 50 percent brightness

Thermals are good if you dont push ti to hard. If you play in performance mode CPU wil neverl cross 90 degree temp mark

Yes thats true, components and thermals are good in this Asus Tuf f15 only thing that its lags is 13th Gen CPU. If you dont have concern with 12th gen cpu than only go with Asus Tuf

@@altecgide7837 also the i7 in the loq is i7 13620 not i7 13700 which has less number of cores than i7 12th gen in the asus. But with ur experience with the asus, is there any bugs, bad comments, cooling issues, connectivity and ports issues ?

Core i7 13620H has 10-cores while i7 12700H has 14-cores. In real performance there would be very little difference. If you check out benchmark i7 13620H has only 1 percent edge on i7 12700H in single core performance while 12700H has 5 percent edge on multi core performance. So far in 3 months I have no complaint regarding the ports, connectivity, gaming performance, software bugs or thermals. Just note that it has 500gb ssd which is not sufficient for multiple gaming but you can always upgrade it

No Bro. it doesn't have variable refresh rate (VRR), we have to set it manually
