if you want interior, buy European, an evo is an enthusiasts car and allways has been. you pay for the drivetrain, its awd and super active yaw control is beyond anything other production cars have to offer. I own one, road, dirt, gravel, rain, this car is on rails. power on after any apex and it WILL claw through anything. fyi outside US they still come standard with recaros

The only thing that bothered me about the interior is the seats. I understand it's an enthusiasts car and don't expect much but proper seats are very important.

I actually test drove the 2014 MR and thoroughly enjoyed it. I actually thought it was pretty comfortable to sit in and so did my dad. Not really into stick shift, find it to be a hassle as a daily. Man they are pricey thoooo!

The Recaro seats would really be the selling point for me on this car and it is extremely sad to see that they did not add that to the final Edition. What a missed opportunity.

I would fucking love to have one of these cars, like the blue one in the video actually. I have a 2015 regular lancer in that color with the AWC, rally front end and had the dealership add the small spoiler, but it's by no means an Evo X. It's odd though how want for these cars seems to have drastically dropped off for their last year. You can still find brand new ones, even Final Editions, sitting on car lots where I live.

Yea it is sad how low the demand has gotten but Mitsubishi did nothing to compete with the market for this car. The interior is way outdated and they don't have a good name as far as being a reliable car. I wish I could have one too and I considered but but not offering a 6 speed manual transmission was a huge turnoff for me. Sad to see it go but hopefully it comes back stronger...if it comes back

rgbgfive It really annoyed me people harping on the interior when I first got mine, I traded in a base 06 cobalt, so I thought the interior was awesome with the backup cam, and power everything. After I had it awhile though I kind of saw what people were saying. The Evo itself is still one sexy ass looking machine, it did need an interior overhaul save for the steering wheel and info cluster. I don't know where people get them being unreliable cars though. My gf had a mirage when we met 10 years ago that's still on the roads. And you see Eclipses all over the place in my area.

It's probably from people improperly tuning them and overrunning the engine. My favorite is the Evo VII

I know it is a shame. Sad to see it go but it was time. They are falling way behind across their whole lineup and unless something drastically changes they will probably be out of the US market in 5-7 years.
