Try Bobbi brown skin longwear weightless foundation in warm natural. I mix with shade honey for exact match. Golden natural might also go on you which is a middle shade between warm natural and honey.

@@RashiRamalho Nah.... you and I have similar taste in makeup. So, it feels like sharing what I enjoy. Also, try tom ford traceless foundation stick and perfecting foundation. I have used drugstores in the past and I never enjoyed the base. It all started with adult acne. Most of the drugstore foundations either looks grey/ white or do not match exactly my skintone or not available in India at all. This forced me to spend more on base so as to get natural looking and less makeup-y. After trying also 20 different brands' foundation, I kinda have more inclination towards luxury brands.

Yeah I totally can relate to that. Here in NZ I have the same issue with drugstore brands. Finding a colour is frustrating and ive also broken out in the past not to mention for some reason drugstore brands here aren't as cheap as they are in the US!

@@RashiRamalho oh yes! Their prices are soaring high. I can afford tom ford but Mac products. For price point of view, quantity and quality, it much better to go to tom ford. Even bobbi brown products are priced as equal as tom ford at 70-80 USD range.

I have same skin color as you and it has been so hard to find drug store foundation. I researched a lot and now I think I am olive i.e green undertone. I always associated olive with warm tan but that’s not the case

Yup you are right, I've often seen olive tone represented in foundations with warm tan models or models with light skin and cool olive undertones so itz also taken me sometime to figure out that I'm actually yellow olive or warm olive haha im so happy that Dior carries this shade as it can be quite hard to find.

I don’t know if all dior foundations dry out the same but I did find the backstage in 3W oxidised badly! It literally left me 2 shades darker. I would a sample of this and if it oxidises buy one shade up.

How can I tell if I am olive, peach or golden undertone?

I would recommend getting samples of foundations that are close to your skintone with these undertones and then apply a heavy swatch and blend across your cheeks. On the other cheek try a different shade and compare. Taking a picture or video can help to compare the two different sides. Then keep on the one that looks like better match and remove the other one. Apply the 3rd shade to the cheek and compare again to see if the 3rd undertone looks better than the one you have on. Generally the right undertone should jump out at you...it will make your skin look much better while other tones will make you look sallow or dull. Urban decay is good brand to get samples as they have lots of undertones within the same shade intensity category.

Itz decent in very hot weather...a matte foundation would work better like Dior forever matte. With this one you will just have to make sure to really set it with powder

Thaaanks...and thanks for the details about not using a setting spray, using powder, blotting paper and stuff...thanks for each thing... so I can really SEE what it would look like on my skin hours later...with/without a (urban decay all-need ghter )spray.It looks so natura on you..almost matte you know, weird...not dewy!! (not after, you say...but it's cause you got combination skin, which is great! Lucky ) I think it's because you add powder;-) sometimes I just don't, after foundation. Lol they recommend it though.:-)

Haha you are so welcome! This foundation isn't dewy nor matte...has a beautiful natural finish that can be manipulated into looking dewy or matte depending on how you do your base
