We have three of these in our break room at work that get used quite often... They have held up for 3 years now and only look partially used. While they sag a little, they are still comfortable to sit in and only one is showing signs of tearing. People need to understand these aren't really couches and aren't built like them so they will show sign of were quicker than a 1200 couch. considering they sell for around $200. Good buy for the price point that will last you a couple years until you can afford a nicer one.

Dude if you find this for 200 or anywhere near that price. Maybe even 400 bucks it’s 100% worth it. Just be a bit gentle with it and it will extend the life. Edit: btw do you have living spaces where you live? They got some amazing couches for the 1500-2.5k range

For sure, my only advice is don’t treat it like a man cave couch or else it won’t last long. Try to be a bit gentle with it. So when your team scores and you jump up dont jump down on the couch lol

That screw that you see there is tightened all the way. The plastic facing the camera is chipped off so it gives off the illusion of not being screwed in. Sorry buddy

i was thinking of getting a dark brown faux leather futon, not frrom Walmart. But Friends have said that Faux leather will wear off. I have a dog so not sure if they will scatch it up.

Your best bet is to not allow the dog on the couch because he can scratch up both faux and real leather. The biggest difference will be that real leather couches will cost you an arm and a leg and your dog can still scratch them up.

Also forgot to mention. Not all Faux leather is made the same. A perfect example is faux leather used in cars is infinitely higher quality than the faux leather used in this mainstays couch. Check out your local Costco see if they have a couch for 299.99. Mine has one and I’m thinking of getting that. Seems to be much better quality

FAUX is pronounced Foe... it means fake not real leather, some call it vegan leather. real leather would cost much more. face it the couch is just cheap shit you don't get quality for cheap. I bought a couch off craigslist for 300.00 dollars new it was $3000

If anyone expects it to be decent quality, then that's on them. It's not made to be everyday furniture. It's not made for 225 lb. Men to lounge on daily. That should be common sense. Its for spare rooms, kids, bonus game rooms etc. Or for someone on a budget to get by until they can get a real sofa. Anyone that thinks this was anything other, is just not.. Anyway, to give negative feed back like you have on a product such as this for not meeting your needs, is simply not fair to the manufacturer. It serves the purpose is designed for, perfectly. I did call it 🦊 leather 😂😂 but got corrected by someone else already that it’s pronounced foe. Good to know. In terms of my review of the couch in all fairness this product is not advertised the way you described it, in contrast it’s advertised to be used as the main couch of the home and to be used as normal. I understand my weight played a decent role which is why I went out of my way to mention it in the video and at the end noted that your experience may be different if you are lighter than me.
