Thank you for your hard work making this video. Very detail and helpfull. Found really cheap Dell rtx 3080 ti. Gonna buy it 👍. I wonder, can we change the cooler on this gpu? put another cooler brand like zotac/msi cause this gpu ugly as hell.

You can find this card for in south east asia for less than AUD $700 because Dell is dumping it due to gfx crash. At that price nothing beats it. In fact i got one and it looks comical inside my R5 5500 system. No thermal issue whatsoever, i guess the reviewer unit suffers from the usual dell QC issues and all he needs to do is repaste the cooler block.

@@HSR very silent to be exacly termal is 72 sometime if The game prefer cpu more then GPU, cpu is 65 and GPU 40c

Are OEM cards as good as Founder Edition cards? They seem a little barebones compared to what Asus, MSI or other manufacturers sell.

Depends on the OEMs and AIBs. But as general rule of thumb, AIBs are heaps better.

So basically dells 3080ti, even though performance is good, it runs extremely hot and loud right? I found an Aorus 6800xt for $550. Worth the downgrade in perf. For temps and warranty or nah?

Hey friend! Thank you so much for the extensive data. I would really like your opinion and input into my dilemma right now. So I have a 3080ti by dell OEM in hand. And it really is noisy as you said. I can sell it for maybe around $700, and with seller fees I will make about $610. I can buy a 6900xt Red Devil Radeon Ultimate for $700 flat, which includes a 1 year microcenter warranty. If you were in my shoes, would you sell the 3080ti by dell and get the 6900xt? Is the $90 net difference worth it? In person do you think the 6900xt has audibly less noise? Thank you so much for your time!

Not all cards of the same class the same. The best RTX 3080 Ti that I have come across is the Asus ROG Strix OC RTX 3080 Ti. It goes toe-to-toe with my Gigabyte Aorus Master RTX 3090. That’s right 3090. It I were you, do you use Ray tracing? If yes, stay away from the AMD. If not, I still wouldn’t spend $90 more to go from RTX 3080 Ti to RX 6900 XT. I would keep your card and see if I could get a deal on a Asus card. Even the TUF Gaming is a great card. Make sure you check out my reviews and unboxing of the TUF Gaming and ROG Strix OC

Just thought of this, put a waterblock on your RTX 3080 Ti will fix the cooling and noise

@@HSR Thanks for your response! I have never used raytracing because I game on a 4k monitor. I feel like RT just takes away frames. And if im being honest, my main concern is my 3080ti by dell randomly getting fried. When I owned my R13, while playing a game my PC shut off and the gpu was fully fried. Dells warranty covered it and replaced it of course. Since then, I have sold the R13 but kept the 3080ti to put in a new custom build. But honestly, I am scared of it becoming randomly fried again. Then I am out 700$ if i have to buy a new gpu. How much is a waterblock and is it difficult to put on the 3080ti? Thank you.

It dies due to the cooler on it being useless. The card is the same design as the FE. You’ll need to research and decide if water cooling is easy or not

@@HSR since im a complete noob, im gonna say its not going to be easy, as i just like plug and play components. Dont hate me for what im about to say, but I bought the h510 elite case. I know everyone says it will catch on fire but i love how the glass panels look and it was sale for 80$. Do you think my dell 3080ti would die in this case? Thanks again for your time
