This is my home airport, I live less than 7 mins away from MLB and can see the departures of 27L and the arrivals of 9R from my front yard and backyard. Probably watched your flight take to the skies. I myself have also flown on 5488 quite a bit to CLT. I split my air travel between AA and Delta so it works great for me to fly out of MLB. And since my wife and I have family in Pittsburgh, we are able to take Allegiant on Sunday’s and Thursday’s nonstop if we need to get up there quickly and on the cheap.

i flew the exact route on February 14th, 2023 on my way to Vermont. A well produced video. I would give my experience a similar rating.

This indeed is a great airport for its size. They just added Allegiant Airlines to their manifesto along with American and Delta and the charter airlines you mentioned. I fly to Central Florida every summer in the month of June. I stay in Melbourne at the Days Inn, which is literally just a few minutes from this airport. I used to live in Satellite Beach, Florida from 1969 to 1971 as a kid in elementary school when my late father was in the Air Force. He was stationed at what is now called Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, but we actually lived in the old Patrick AFB south housing units which are now gone. Anyway, I began using this airport to fly to Florida in June of 2016. I used Orlando International Airport during all the other years because I had no idea that Melbourne had their own airport. I will never use Orlando International again now that I am fully aware of this gem of an airport! It is nowhere as near as crowded as all of the other large international airports as you can see in the video. I'm lucky if there is one person in front of me while checking myself and my luggage in. And TSA is just about the same! You can't beat that as far as I am concerned! A heck of a lot less stress to deal with! My number one airport!

Good video, I'm flying out in September to Charlotte then Chicago, I was curious about the airport and CRJ-900. I live in Palm Bay about 20 minutes away, I been to the airport a few times but never passed security, always flown in an out of Orlando.

Do you have any more pictures/videos of the ramp? Looks like they re-marked the Gate 7 ramp again.
