how do you disable the strobe on these LM70S modes?

Under the console manipulation, if it is 9 channels, as long as the CH3 channel to 255 can turn off the strobe function; if it is 14 channels, then in the CH6 channel to 255 can turn off the strobe function

I read that DMX cables are different XLRs. Or, can I use an XLR cable?
