I am so appreciative of your kindness in sharing the video. Much aloha…

I bought my Bissel two years ago, paid too much, but I thought it would save money eventually. I watched every KZbin video, tried until I cried to get it to work. I offered my grandson,12, $20 to fix it and get it working. It took him 20 minutes. My carpets look brand new. I can use it as much as I want, the carpets just get cleaner!👍🏻

Author noted a 'con' that the holding tank fills quickly and machine stops running properly. Just listen ....you will hear when the unit stops picking up. You only need to make that mistake once, at most!! (I did too!!)

Bissell has an oxi clean additive, it's reasonably priced, and I highly recommend it, it got the yellow moisture rings off my mattress beautifully with no effort! I LOOOOVE my spot clean pro! 😍 Also, a spare straw cleaner brush is perfect for cleaning the small nozzle.

Note: use the other side of the cleaner wand side the little T hook will pull out how to clean hair and lint. I think it's kind of gross to rent a carpet cleaner because you don't know what the previous people cleaned up. Then the places doesn't clean them with every new person.
@memekendall31978 ай бұрын
Definitely. Took over an hour to clean the one I rented because it was soo nasty( time included the time to clean before I put inside my car, it was that bad) So, you can imagine what I had to do before I got it inside my house. Had to lay it on some old, cleaning towels, before I could clean. All that work and the machine stop working, dripping tons of water everywhere. My carpet was soaked. It end up "dying" right before I was about to finish. It was a mess. Unfortunately, I was in a desperate need because my carpet cleaner literally died right in the middle of me cleaning and I just added a huge cleaner on a pet mess my dog made. I had to clean it right then. Luckily, I just got found this pet pro plus on sale.

I have owned this exact vacuum for over 4 years and I have never used it. I found it so intimidating that I just gave up after a few minutes. To be noted, we bought this vacuum at the same time as we bought the Bissell Revolution with the Pet Hair Eraser which is strictly for dry cleaning - and someone put the attachments and tools and hoses for both vacuums all in one place 😐 so I was lost in hoses and nozzles and missing user guides. What I’m saying is: THANK YOU!!! I feel like I can not only USE my vacuum, but I can finally - and with confidence - *identify* the parts that belong to the carpet cleaner! You’re a godsend!

my suggestion as a carpet cleaner for 30 years for the home would be the oreck orbiter it is around 350.00 new (bissel is nice but they tend not to hold up and over saturate) and from my exp they leave a residue and leave much of the dry soil in the carpet, I suggest to buy a carpet rake to remove lint, pet hair then go to buy Salon 20 clear (from sally beauty supply it is 6% hy peroxide) and mix that with plant based laundry detergent, and for heavy soil you can add zep degreaser, put that in 2 gallon pump up sprayer after you vacuum, (the mix around 4oz each) spray the solution and take the oreck cotton pad make it damp and start the cleaning, you can see many videos on YT
@YoungBlaze3 жыл бұрын
why do you need the salon 20
@carminecavaliere39083 жыл бұрын
@@YoungBlaze because the 6% peroxide from salon 20 clear helps boost the detergent your cleaning with, plus it can used as a spotter for dog urine, food spots, this will not bleach the carpet, i have been carpet cleaning for 30 years, most of the professional cleaners have some form of peroxide in it many people are not aware of that
@YoungBlaze3 жыл бұрын
@@carminecavaliere3908 gotcha! Im just now getting into learning, i mix alot of oxy powerder intol my solutions and its been working, def will have to try the product you suggested and i just learned that if i rake the carpet first and then vacuum then rake more , it getts up all the hair for the most part then i use the carpet cleaner
@carminecavaliere39083 жыл бұрын

Sorry this'll be my last comment I do believe the Bissell spot-clean Pro can be attached to a Bissell upright carpet cleaner so it's like a two in one I saw it on a different channel that she had a Bissell carpet cleaner but she took that off and it became a Bissell spot-clean.

Wonder how Bissell compares to Hoover brand carpet and upholstery system. Any comments appreciated.
@felichiah58453 жыл бұрын
I had a Hoover carpet cleaner for 3 years it broke. Then I switched over to Bissell and it was like night and day and I've had Bissell for 11 years now. There is a channel I believe it's called a vacuum Wars where they test out carpet cleaners and vacuum cleaner Brands. Bissell is the best. Shark is the best for vacuums.

I would go with Hoover. Have had great success with my Hoover vacuum and complete failure after short term use with two pet pro bissells. Next one will be Hoover. No more Wasting money on Bissells

@@felichiah5845 isn’t it crazy how some brands work great for some people snd others brands not. Your experience and mine are complete opposite. When the Bissell worked (not many uses) it did a good job but then both of mine quit.

I've been doing research. I had a hoover vacuum that didn't even last me 6 months. I now use a shop vac because I vacuum so much and I love that better. So, I've been looking. The bissell seems to be a lot better when watching reviews. They have people on youtube who compare the two!

It took me 2- 2.5 hrs to wash a small 6'×5' rug with this machine the rug is not that dirty, but did have some stains. It cleaned it pretty ok, but for the amount of passes i did was not worth the time spent. Also, no one had told me or mention that this machine squirts out water on the right side of the machine causing my floors to get all wet when i to close to the edges where most of the stains were.This machine was terrible - Took longer because i had to mop up the mess it made! I cant imagine someone with wooden floors. You can't stop the water, I tried looking all over. Why can't it not be controlled? Can some one help? Tell me which machine does not do this. Once this machine is on you cant stop the water from squirting. I have a couple days left for the return. Please help ASAP!
