Have you seen Linked Horizon, the Bravely Default concert? It’s on prime video and here on KZbin. It’s so good! If you have 2 hours of downtime it’s absolutely worth a watch

Each character's theme is fronted by a different instrument, and the way the music is implemented is incredible. Some of the best music of any game I've ever played, for sure. The QoL options in BD and B2nd are also really, really good.

Yeah it’s so amazing, I was really happy when Revo came back for bravely default 2. Not to say second doesn’t have an amazing OST, it’s just not on the same level

dude Bravely Default is so freaking good. it is VERY flawed (oh my god the endgame...........) but it just has a lot of heart and extreme charm. and, oh yeah, maybe the best turn-based system of all time. as an Octopath Traveler hater (at least the first game), I really feel like it "stole" BD's valor lol also the villain plot twist was so wild!!!!!! I fuckin love it. and The Vagrant of Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I really hope the Team Asano Bravely Announcement is a new game. I'd be okay with ports of Default and Second to PC and other consoles though.

I'll be honest, I actually don't like job systems or sphere grids or anything like that. I get really bad decision paralysis when presented with too many options and it ends up causing me to either ignore it just to get frustrated later, build my character incorrectly causing me more frustration later when it's too late to recover from it if there's no way to reset, or I just end up getting frustrated trying to figure out what works or doesn't. It just is not fun for me. I'd rather have the preset characters if I'll be honest. Even in games like Skyrim or Fallout, I tend to look up guides on how others build characters, because on my own I'm just perpetually lost and frustrated. That said, I played a little bit of Bravely Default. I remember enjoying it, but it didn't hook me enough to finish playing it.

You can’t really mess up your character luckily in bravely default. At the very worst you’ll just have to spend some time grinding. Not a huge deal. I get the decision paralysis though

@@Shinky It's even kinda fun to deliberately try and break or experiment with characters. At one point in the game I made all 4 thiefs and abused the (backstab?) ability. That was a ton of fun. I am sure there are many cool examples.
